Intel widi i just upgraded my widi to version 3.5.41.0 and now my tv has a bad delay when conected to laptop. what should i do and what does that mean

Try starting the WiDi software in your Windows 8 device (and make sure that you have latest software, and DLNA enabled), then go to SmartShare in LG television. There should be WiDi icon visible. Select that - your windows 8 device should now show ask whetehr you allow the connection. Answer yes. The screen sharing should work after that.

sounds like faulty adapter.

Have you tried reinstalling the intel wifi for your computer?

I do not use an automatic driver detection program, because they have a tendency to install the wrong drivers.

I look in Device Manager, and use the driver that matches THAT device, the O/S used, and is the newest version, (Date), with all the bugs worked out from an older version.

For your laptop that would be;

Ethernet Driver for Intel PRO/100 VE LAN that is the 49675 version, and has the date of November 8, 2002,

I'm not sure there is a problem. Intel WiDi is suppose to send what ever is displayed on your desktop to your TV. Is there a difference between what is shown on your TV and laptop's screen? It could also be that your laptop is set for extended display and the TV is set to the secondary display. Right-click on the desktop and select the Screen Resolution setting. If it is set to Extend then drag a window from your desktop to the right and it should show on your TV.
