SOURCE: can`t get oven to heat on zenith 60

HI, You will need to check the oven sensor wires that link the actual sensor to the main control board. Make sure that the contacts are connected properly, and not loose, or corroded. If all the wiring checks out, test the sensor for the correct resistance readings.(you will need a multimeter for this test)

The most common oven sensor should be approximately, 1100 ohms when at room temperature. The others may be close to as follows:

100°F - 1143 ohms
200°F - 1350 ohms
300°F - 1553 ohms
350°F - 1654 ohms
400°F - 1753 ohms
500°F - 1949 ohms

If the sensor test is adequate, and the wiring is Ok at the control, this will lead to a failed control board. replace the control in this case....

Have Ck90g232 model, electric oven has no heat, the fan still works but not the light. All other ovens and hobs are functioning,is this an element issue and will a professional have to fix the problem?

The light may just be a burned out light bulb. Remove it and take it to an appliance store to find a replacement. As far as the oven goes, elements do burn out. They are relatively inexpensive. Make sure you have turned the oven OFF before you do anything. The heating elements do pull out and you can replace them yourself. Take the information about your oven and the heating element to an appliance store for a direct replacement.

Top oven wont stay alight

Seems the Thermocouple (instrument that lets the oven know the gas is lit) is not working properly. Your ignitor is working thus allowing the gas to burn...but the heat is not moving down the thermo line to register as being lit. Thus the oven thinks gas is being pumped but not burning and turns off as a safety precaution. THere must be a thermostat sensor...usually a wire or tube that allows the heat from the burning flame travel towards a sensor...this is faulty...remove and replace.

Oven takes too long to heat up sometimes wont even go to the temperature ignitor is working well can see the glow magic chef model 3488vvv serial 13368882kz

Hello there:
Hi,

When you turn the oven on, open the oven door and look down at the bottom and see if its glowing red, it should glow red for about 45-60 seconds then you should hear the gas ignite. If the gas doesn't ignite, then your igniter glow bar is bad.

Here's the oven glow bar igniter for your model:
