We are installing our new Samsung dishwasher and there is a slow leak where the elbow and inlet valve connect. We have tried a couple of times, used teflon tape and still a very slow drip. What to do?

Home Depot and other stores have dishwasher installation kits. Don't go to a hardware store this time, go to a store that sells dishwashers-- and other appliance installation kits. There should be braided hoses and all sorts of fun connectors and gadgets to get you going safely. You may need a new inlet elbow for the inlet valve if you have a bad seal because you're replacing an old dishwasher. Speak with a store representative and explain your situation and ask for guidance on install kits.

Water spraying out of the front vent of unit.

Dear zenith 10deg,
The outlet elbow attached to the head inside must have cracked. Leakage from selas do not that much spraying. Spraying are almost always caused by the cracking of the outlet elbow or the cracking of the head itself. The inlet elbow also makes a lot of spraying wheb broken, especialy if inlet water pressure is high. To see exactly from where the spraying is coming out, one must for sure remove the cover. Removing the cover must be done, because just the same one has to fix the problem.
Regards,
fulltech.

WATER LINE 90 DEGREE ELBOW LEAKING FRONT LEFT

Did you actually break the elbow? you may be able to cut the tubing back and get a new surface for the elbow to push back into. if not a 5/16" push in connector is what you need you may be able to find this at a water condition store such as culligan.

Whirlpool dishwasher leaks everywhere

CHECK YOUR HOSES FOR CRACKS. BE SURE THEY ARE ATTACHED SECURELY TO THE PUMP OULET.
THERE IS ALSO A BLACK HOSE FROM THE VALVE THAT GOES UP THE LEFT SIDE TO A VACUUM BREAK ON THE SIDE OF THE TUB. BE SURE THE HOSE HASN'T BEEN DAMAGED OR DISCONNECTED. IF THERE IS SUFFICIENT SUPPLY HOSE, PULL THE DISHWASHER OUT OF IT'S INSTALLATION AND TURN IT ON. WATCH FOR WATER DRIPPING ON THE FLOOR AND TRACE IT BACK TO FIND THE PROBLEM.
