SOURCE: club car golf cart

If it was me, if it gets hot, that's usually a sign that the juice if flowing through it wrong. Sounds like you've got something hooked up backwards. or grounded out to something else. Check everything again. Get help from a professional if that doesn't fix it.

Perhaps it's a stuck carburetor float valve, bad fuel pump (if it has one) or clogged fuel filter.

Find the year serial nimber A9649-548612 club car golf cart was manufactured

Since 1981 Club Car Golf Carts have positioned their serial numbers just under the glove box on the passengers side of the vehicle. The first two numbers (not letters) indicate the last two digits of the year of manufacture.

On Club Car Golf Carts prior to 1981, you can find the serial number by raising the seat and locating the aluminum, I-beam frame section closest to the batteries on the driver's side of the car. If the serial number plate has been removed, you can confirm it is a 1975-1980 model if it has two brake pedals and one accelerator pedal.

Club cart will not move forward or backwards. With

Checkwith golf cart King out of Austin Texas. You can find them on the internet. It's kind of hard to say what could be going on because they're so many components or simple little things that could be going wrong. The first thing I would be checking is the solenoid. Its a solenoid checks out then it could go it could be your controller. Then again it could be in the throttle assembly which is mounted underneath the floorboard. Please give GolfCard King a call or look them up and I promise you you will get your answer. A thumbs up would be greatly appreciated if answer is helpful for your question. THANK you and GOD BLESS
