I have lost the ac adapter for my Xantrex Powerpack 200 Plus. Where can I get one for a reasonable price?

You need a 12 Volt AC/ 1 AMP (1000ma) charger. You can use one with a lower ma rating but it will take longer to charge. The factory unit will take 35 hours to fully recharge a totally discharged battery. If you use your car's cigarette lighter it will take 3 hours if you're charging and driving. Good Luck!

Tip

Battery replacement in Xantrex XPower Powerpack 600 > 600 watts 12 VDC >...

Battery replacement will require opening the case of the Powerpack 600. The four rubber feet must be removed first (Phillips head #2 screwdriver). Next the two orange handle halves come off starting on the radio side. The screw heads may be either 9/32" or 1/4" heads depending on age of your Powerpack 600. Use either a 9/32" or 1/4" nutdriver to remove the screws. The orange handle halves swing open like a clamshell at the carrying handle and lift off. The orange handle half on the flashlight side has two hidden latches in the handle area that must be released with a flat head screwdriver first before that half can be fully removed. Now that the orange handles are out of the way, slip off the bumpy rubber handgrip from the gray handle. On the radio side of the gray plastic case are 9 Phillips head #2 screws that are in recessed holes to remove. Once those screws are removed, the gray plastic case seperates in half and you can unplug the two pin connector going to the radio and set the radio half aside. You are now inside the Powerpack 600 and can replace the battery if needed.

Replacement 12 volt, 28ah battery numbers:
Sealake # FM12280
Zipp Battery # 12V-28AH-T3
CSB # GP12260
Powersonic PDC-12260
Tempest # TD28-12
Panasonic LC-C1228PG
Universal Power Group # UB12260
BB Battery # BP28-12

With Electric down, I just plugged my 12 in. fan into the XPower 200 PLUS after 15 min. the unit started to mum loudly.....and the fan stopped....is that as long as it will work before charged again

That sounds about right. 200 watts isnt alot of power, its enough to power small electronics such as phone chargrers, but if you want to power a high energy product, try a 650-800 watt supply. More watts = longer run time for your devices.

Lost both the Wall AC charger and the DC car charger. Xantrec does not sell either from their website. Xantrec Xpower 200 plus

Try Ebay, sometimes they will have aftermarket ones listed
Go by the output and the style plug in for yours with the model name of your system

Fues blown in xpower inverter 1750 plus

These fuse are often intend to protect voltage inversion. (reverse voltage)
So, if the eight fuse are blown, then maybe the voltage red and black wire were not connected to the correct polarity.

then again, even if these fuse are intend to be use as reverse protection, it may occure that transformer short out, transistor short out and many other short circuit inside the inverter as occure.

So replacing all eight fuse might not restore the unit function, they may even blow again.
Also, reversing polarity that cause the fuse to blow might have damage the transistor stage.

I am still, investigating few other problem with those unit.
I don't have all answer yet.
