My Samsung Nook put itself in Safe mode and i can't take it out! I have tried powering off and restarting but it does not help

assuming you use windows 10, To exit Safe Mode, open the System Configuration tool by opening the Run command (keyboard shortcut: Windows key + R) and typing msconfig then Ok. 2. Tap or click the Boot tab, uncheck the Safe boot box, hit Apply, and then Ok. Restarting your machine will exit Safe mode.

This does not apply except in Windows 10 ... and MAYBE Windows 8.x

My Sharp Aquos is on safe mode and want go out of safe mode I tried everything...I need help!!!!

To release the safe mode, you have to enter its service mode option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
Service mode entry, adjust and exit procedure to many popular brand TVs are given. Never forget to exit the service mode, after all adjustments have been done.
NB: Please read and understand well, the instructions to enter the service mode, before you begin. Be very careful. Note how to "EXIT" the service mode; after entering and adjusting data. This is very important.
Search the site by type in the brand name to your device, in the "Search box at the top right of the display window".

How to exit safe mode

You can reboot your computer as you normally would, and that should let you exit safe mode. If your OS is damaged, you may be forced back into safe mode, in which case you would want to restore your OS from a backup.

Is there a safe way to exit safe mode? Currently I am pushing the power button.

Hi,

you can exit safe mode by restarting the computer
start->shutdown-restart however if the computer reboots only in safe mode you can check one option in system configuration utlity

start-run-msconfig-boot.ini..make sure safeboot is not selected.
