What switch position should I have for 12v & 240v in a millard 2002 van

The 12v & 240v switch is to change voltage supplied to the camper. You use the 12v if you are running things from the battery; you use the 240 when you're connected to what the US calls "shore power" or "land power"

Can i connect my tele in mt caravan on 12v

Yes. Either by using a 12v dc tv, or if it uses 120v/240v ac by using an inverter on the 12v dc supply which ups the voltage and converts to ac.

Need car adaptor for bmr100 12v to12v

As they don't make one you have 2 options.

1) Buy another Mains Adapter and Cigarette Lighter Plug, Cut the Cable & Connect to the BMR100 and connect it to the Cigarette Lighter Plug.

2) Buy a small (100W) 12V to 240V Inverter and plug your existing Mains Adapter into this. You'll get one from eBay for about £10.00 to £15.00.

Power coverter to scanner failure.which unit should i buy? present one 240v 50/60hz.0.4A. output 12v.dc.i.25A

I just found my Canon 5000F scanner to have a power supply outputting 3V DC instead of 12V DC. I replaced it with a 12V DC Power Supply from Tandy rated at 1.5 amps. I had the scans getting darker by the day and sometimes completely black. Now I have great scans again. Just test the voltage at the plug that supplies the scanner for a healthy 12V DC with a multimeter.

TRC520 CB wont power up

Hello, First of all you only have the Power wire Red, and the ground wire Black to connect for 12v DC to power the unit. If you memory power it is usually connected to a constant power source such as the cigarette lighter or continuous 12V dc powersupply off of the battery. These are the only connections that should be connected to provide power. Since the unit will not turn on I suspect that the CB's power supply and regulator have been blown. Another possible choice is that the radio was working and someone removed the antenna cable and the the RF power amplifier malfunctioned taking the power supply and regulator with it. To solve this problem, check the voltages on the wires before connecting them to the radio (these should be the 12 volt power off of the radio circuit, and the 12 volt power off of the continuous 12V connector (or the cigarette lighter). These voltages should read 12V. Connect the CB with it turned off and measure the voltages (should be 12V) Turn the radio on and check the voltages (should be a little less than 12V) If the radio does not come on then the internal power supply of the radio might be defective (In this case I would advise taking the CB to a qualified radio repair shop) I hope this helps Thank you, Shuttle83 http://www.electron-age-technologies-llc.com

you should connect it to the 12v positive of the power supply, maybe install a switch in line between the amp and power supply.

12v &240v connections on an ENGEL COOLER

AUTOMATIC AC/DC CHANGEOVER: All Engel Fridge Freezers can be plugged into both AC and DC at the same time. The Engel is smart enough to use the AC while available and then automatically switch to DC when the AC is no longer working. It will also sense the resumption of AC power and automatically switch back to AC making it ideal for high hurricane areas and places where power disruption is common.
