It is possible that you have a stale cookie on your system. Logging in will put a cookie on the system, so try cleaning your cookies or using a different browser. There have also been some recent upgrades to the PayPal home page and some JSP or CSS file didn't load and is causing the login to hang.

Sign to my email but cannot open mail get message session has expire sign in again.

You'll see this message if it has been more than eight hours since you last signed in to Yahoo! and you did not click the "Sign Out" link at the end of your session. We display this message and ask that you log in again as a safeguard for Yahoo! Business Email users, specifically those who use public or shared computers. Other possibilities:
  • Check your account information. If you've chosen to be prompted for a password more frequently than every eight hours, your session will expire after the specified amount of time. To change this:

    1. Sign in to your account at http://mail.yourdomain.com/ (be sure to replace "yourdomain" with your domain name).
    2. Click the "My Account" link at the top of the page. You'll be prompted to verify your password.
    3. On the "Review My Account Information" page, click the "Edit" button or link to the right of "Member Information."
    4. Under General Preferences, toward the bottom of the page, select your "Prompt for Password" setting in the pull-down menu. You may choose everythign from every 15 minutes to every 2 weeks.
    5. Click the "Finished" button to save your changes.

  • Please note that opening another browser window and signing in to a second Yahoo! account will automatically sign you out of the first. When you return to the first account, clicking on any link will give you the "Your login session has expired" message.
  • If you repeatedly receive the message "Your login session has expired" or are repeatedly cycled back to the sign-in screen with no error message after entering your ID and password, your problem may be caused by a difficulty setting your user cookie. (A cookie is a small piece of information stored by your browser to help identify who you are. Yahoo! Business Email uses cookies to keep you logged in to your account as you move from page to page.) If your cookie isn't being accepted correctly, you'll be logged out of your account as soon as you move to a different page. This will prevent you from signing in or staying signed in. There are a number of reasons why your cookie may not be set properly. We have listed the possible reasons and their solutions below. We recommend trying the steps in order, as they are listed from easiest-to-fix to most difficult.
    • The date on your computer is set incorrectly. Since cookies rely on dates, a computer with an incorrect date may mislead your browser into forgetting about your cookie. To fix this, set the correct time and date on your computer.
    • You have installed an application that monitors/blocks cookies from being sent. This may include virus protection software. To remedy this, simply disable the monitoring application before logging in.
    • You are behind a firewall that doesn't allow you to receive cookies. This is sometimes the case for users connecting from a business intranet that limits cookie acceptance for security reasons. Contact your system administrator for more information.
    • Your browser is not set to accept cookies. Most browsers have the option of accepting all cookies, showing an alert before accepting a cookie, or not accepting cookies at all. In order to use Yahoo! Business Email, your browser must be set to accept all cookies without alerts (don't select the option that will display an alert before accepting cookies). To adjust this setting, we've provided instructions for several browsers. When making adjustments, be sure to confirm any changes you make by clicking the "OK" button in the Options windows. Internet Explorer 6.x and higher:

      1. Click "Tools."
      2. Click "Internet Options," and then the "Privacy" tab.
      3. Move the slider up or down depending upon your desired level of security.
      Internet Explorer 5.x:

      1. Click "Tools," then "Internet Options."
      2. Select the "Security" tab and click the button labeled "Custom Level."
      3. Scroll down to "Cookies" and make sure that the box next to "Accept cookies" is checked.

I have a problem with my e-mail. I can get in, but when I try to open to read ,it flips over to the trouble page and say it can not open. I have a hot mail account and have no problem??????help This has...

  • If Yahoo! isn't opening, for whatever reason, you may have an issue with your cookies. Cookies are little files that are saved by your browser that store various forms of information about websites, passwords, preferences, etc. However, these cookies can also malfunction the website slightly, causing you to have limited or zero ability to use it. To fix this, you can clear your cookies. To do this, go to your "Tools" or "Settings" option on your browser. After that, go to the "History" or "Preferences" section. You should have the option to delete cookies/history. You should also have options to decide what cookies are deleted and which ones aren't. After you've cleared the cookies, close your browser down, then open it back up, and try signing back into Yahoo! Hopefully this solves some people's problems.
  • Ensure you have the latest versions of Adobe Flash and Java installed. It may sound crazy, but websites are using these programs to run applications and stream data to your computer through your browser. Most advertisements and mail clients use some form of code other than just HTML or basic CSS. To update your Adobe Flash and Java version, go to: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ and for Java go to: http://www.java.com/en/download/inc/wind...
Hope this helps!

I'm using classic yahoo mail and i cannot view my emails because my settings have changed to a blank page. there are no tool bars or arrows to get me back. Any suggestions?

The simplest idea would be to first click "sign out" in Yahoo! Mail, close your web browser, re-open it and then sign back in. You may then see if the settings appear.

If that doesn't work, and If you haven't already done so, try clearing your web browser's cache and cookies. Specific instructions depend on your browser. Your browser should have a Help menu. Click "Help" and select "About" to see your browser version. You may then go to Google and input your browser version, along with clear cache cookies to get instructions.

This could also be a javascript issue, Go to www.java.com and click "Do I have Java?". The site will prompt you to upgrade if you do not have the latest version.

Finally, if you're using the ancient web browser Internet Explorer 6, you may try upgrading to modern web browser for free. IE6 tends to have trouble rendering elements of web pages nowadays, as the internet has evolved beyond its capacity. You may do so from any of the below links:

Internet Explorer 8: www.microsoft.com/ie8
Mozilla Firefox: www.firefox.com
Google Chrome: www.google.com/chrome

I hope one of these solutiosn works for you. If not, you may contact Yahoo! support here:

http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/classic/

Thanks!

Firefox 3.5 --> Open Firefox>Tools>Options>Privacy>Use custom settings for history>From the drop-down list, select Show Cookies..>Remove All Cookies
Firefox 3.6 --> Open Firefox>Tools>Options>Privacy>Remove individual cookies>Remove All Cookies
IE 8 --> Start>Run>Type: inetcpl.cpl>OK>General>Delete>Make sure Temporary Internet Files and Cookies are ticked>Delete

Make sure you have the latest Java version on your computer. For more info about Java and to download latest update, go to this site.

Cant get into ebay sign in account. it half loads with a blank screen

Hi there!
It could be that your computer's cache and cookies are full. Try to clear the temporary internet files in your computer. You can also use another browser.
If you already did all of it, try to check if you already updated the java and if it's enabled cookies. Check the security setting of your computer and set it to middle because you will not be able to load a page if the setting is too high.
I hope this helps. Have a great day!

When visiting a site such as Friends Reunited I cannot view the site as I keep getting a message up with a yellow exclamation mark in a triangle saying: Error in addLoadEvent:(object error). I have typed...

It appears to be a Java script error.
The chances are some pages your are visiting are using Java script to deliver multilayer messages or adverts.
If you didn't have Java script installed on your machine you would get an error along the lines of "page was unable to load" so I am guessing your Java script needs updating.
Go to this site: http://www.java.com/en/ you can either download Java or have the site check your computer to see if it has the latest copy(easiest method).
