You should try RemotesPro on Amazon.. They do custom remotes. I purchased a custom remote for a Mitsu XD250U-ST for around $49. They are reliable and you'll have your remote in less than a week.

Why will my mitsubishi lvp x300 projector only project a blue screen when I turn it on?

Blue is probably the default "no signal" screen. It means that the projector is getting no signal.

You have this backwards. The applicable code(s) would be in the remote control, if it is compatible.

Auto positioning does not work on XL25U

auto position only reinterpretations the computer signal. what you need is lens shift. I don't think this unit has that.

My dell d630 laptop wont recognize my infocus lp70+ remote control and I can't advance my powerpoint slides with the remote control

Here's what the User's Manual says:

Using the Remote Control

To advance PowerPoint slides with the projector's remote, you

must connect the USB cable on the projector's computer cable to

the computer. See page 8 for more information.

Point the remote control at the projection screen or at the front or

rear of the projector (not at the computer). The range for optimum

operation is about 30 feet. If you point the remote at the

projection screen, the distance to the screen and back to the projector

must be less than or equal to 30 feet. For best results, point

the remote directly at the projector.

If you are displaying presentations in Microsoft® PowerPoint®,

you can use the remote's Previous and Next buttons to navigate

through your presentation while in Slide Show mode.

I have a xd70U, for some reason unit has to be severly tilted to get picture on screen, is there something wrong with lense ? THANKS!

Basically, If you don't have a functioning remote - You're fucked

Why in ****'s any manufacturer of a $2500 unit would make absolutely no accommodation to use the machine without a remote should be beyond comprehension - But, of course there's always greed involved which changes things.

Mitsubishi isn't satisfied with taking your $2500 - They want either $500 more for an un-necessary repair after you've already spent $150 for a new remote that didn't solve the problem.

I'm assuming that you are referring to the "MONITOR OUT terminal (D-SUB mini 15P)" at the back of your Mitsubishi XL25.

If yes, the only instance that there will nothing shown at the external computer/VGA monitor would be when the SCART is set to ON. Likewise normal computer video signals are not projected.

Normally, SCART should be set to OFF except when used with some European devices. You can enable/disable SCART under the Menu/Feature.

Hope this be of help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.
