SOURCE: battery replacement for everex ga3400

If you are looking for the small silver battery on the motherboard, they are all the same.

They are 3V Lithium Cells. There are several brands and makes, but Maxell's number is CR2032. You can find these at Radio Shack, WalMart, and online.

Reloaded windows xp and now i am unable to connect

Hi, First option is to locate the Drivers and Utility Disks that came with your computer and use it to re-install all drivers; especially the one that allows you to connect to the network / internet service. Second option is to go to a computer (maybe a cafe) that is connected to the Internet, go to the support page of your computer manufacturers website, download the essential drivers you need, save them to a USB / Flash disk and then go install on your own computer.

Everex GA3400 no video, no BIOS splash, nothing. Install PCI card

Hello,

First look for a CMOS battery on the motherboard. If found, disconnect the battery and also disconnect the power cables from the system.

Wait for about 10 minutes and then reconnect battery.

Turn it on. If it remains same, try to re-seat memory modules and let me know if you get any beep sound when you turn on the system

Can't find a specific model for the ethernet/usb port on the everex GA 3400 CPU my friend has. need drivers for it, but none seem to be available.

Go into system information(if your running windows) and see what information it has about the chipset(for usb 2.0 controller) and ethernet information. If you can identify the manufacturer name of the board, chipset, and ethernet controller that will lead you to the proper drivers to download. You might be able to open the case and actually see the name of the board maker on the board. Everex does not make the motherboard and I noticed they do not even have a website available for driver downloads. It is a amd board with built in Nvidia graphics so it may have a nforce chipset. Identify the board model and manufacturer then goto their website to download the drivers.

My Everex Impact GA3400 acts as though it is not getting any power to it. It was working fine and just shut down and now I can't get it to start

it could be a busted power supply. check if the green LED lights in the motherboard when the unit is plugged (even if it is not turned ON, it will light). If the led is not lit, the power supply is defective.
