Question about Audio Players & Recorders
To start, I would verify the charger works.
If the charger works, there's a very high likelihood that the solder points on the charging port inside the device have broken (sometimes you can test this by putting the charger in and lifting up or down or in one direction, and being able to get it to connect, until you let go... but that doesn't always work, either).
You can take it to a phone shop and see if they can verify this hypothesis and resolder the connection, if you're unable to do it yourself.
If this isn't it (and assuming it isn't something as simple as power cycling the device)
