I had this problem with another make of flat panel TV. Eventually it would not turn on at all. The following is what I did, and I am not suggesting you do any of this, especially if you are not experienced or knowledgeable with electronics. If your TV is under warranty, call the manufacturer. Mine was out of warranty and it turned out to be a bad capacitor on Power Supply board. I took the back off the TV. The power supply board is usually right in the center of the back of the TV. I then examined the capacitors very carefully. Electrolytic Capacitors sometimes bulge or split open when they go bad. Attached is a picture of my bad capacitor. The blue capacitor has a bulge in the top. They don't always bulge, but sometime leak oil or have a dark residue on them when they go bad. This is what I did. I am not suggesting you do this, but if you take your TV apart, be sure to unplug it first. I happened to have a spare capacitor in my junk electronics bin that was the correct capacitance. It had a higher voltage rating so it was a little bigger, but it still worked. I unsoldered the old capacitor and removed it. I took my spare capacitor and soldered it back into the motherboard. I also found that I could buy the correct electrolytic capacitor on Amazon for under $4 including shipping. Radio Shack also had one that would have worked, but it had axial leads instead of radial leads. Electrolytic capacitors have polarity (there is a + and -) so I had to be careful not to put it in backwards. I marked the circuit board with the + and - before I removed the old cap. I noticed that I could also buy a new power supply which would have only required removal of screws and plugs, but were considerably more $. Let me know how you make out.

Lingthing hit my tv and the power don't come on.what o I have to replace

Almost always, the power supply board will need to be replaced after a lightning hit. If the cable or antenna input was hit, you will need to replace the main board also. It is usually cheaper to replace the TV than to repair a lightning hit.

Samsung UN55c6500 universal code

You can do a master reset on the tv. To performthis you get the remote point at tv with the tv off and hit mute,182, then power. Should come up with a sreen with a list, the first selection on that list you should hit the enter button between the arrows. Sub-menu should ave at the top factory reset or reset, hit the enter button twice. Unit should shut down. Turn power on and tv should be reset as if u just bought it. If u get into trouble in the service menu stop and power off tv. Do not adjust anything else you could damage your tv. Good luck!

Problems w/ Sharp LC-46SB54U remote programming

i will help with the easiest way, hit the TV button, then hold the setup button untill the light blinks twice, then hit 991, it will flash again, hit the 1 again, then hit power, then hit the chanel up button, and if it dont shut off, hit the chanul up button again, keep going this every 2 seconds(with the chanel up button) untill the power shuts off, when it shuts off, hit the setup button again, that will lock it in, hit the power button again-TV should come back on, if that dont work, use the volum up button , after doing the first few steps, hope this helps

Won't turn on...

It's possible that the convergence IC's may be bad in this set along with a few resistors. A TV repair shop should be able to fix the set for you.
