Telephone jack wiring

Most cheap jacks have 4 wires, red, green, yellow & black. Most modern houses have wires paired up (twisted pair) like blue & white with blue line or stripe. Line 1 is red/green or blue/white. Line 2 is yellow/black or orange/white(with orange line/stripe).

I have problem in the bt incoming socket in my house. it seems to be between the bt test socket and the customer outlet can you supply info on this wired connection super hub works on test socket but

Modern wiring, if you have broadband, only uses two wires.

They consist of the A leg and the B leg. The A leg is connected to connexion 2; the B leg to connexion 5.

Other connexions are concerned with earth (usually for party lines) and ringing (for telephones not on an ADSL line--telephones on ADSL get their ringing current derived from the flter). These other two wires should now be disconnected as they can cause noise.

The wires are in pairs, the blue on white has a pair, which has a little white on blue; the orange on white's pair is white on orange.

It sounds as though the blue pair are the A and B leg, and should be connected to 2 and 5.

Check on another telephone socket (it should be wired exactly the same).

Hardwire fridigaire electrolux gallery series stove top. Hooked black and red from branch to black and red from stove top. Neutral side hooked green and white from from stovetop to neutral side. Ho

Should be correct. Maybe it power supply problems.

Have you verify that the line you connected are receiving power on both hot legs ( Red and Black) and that neutral White wire) is actually connected to ground? Use a voltage meter and ohm meter to to do your tests.

It sound like a common Garden Spider. The spider species Argiope aurantia is commonly known as the yellow garden spider,[1][2]black and yellow garden spider,[3]golden garden spider,[4]writing spider, or corn spider. It is common to the contiguous United States, Hawaii, southern Canada, Mexico, andCentral America. They have distinctive yellow and black markings on their abdomens and a mostly white cephalothorax. The etymology of its name means "gildedsilver-face". Males range from 5-9 mm (0.20-0.35 in) females from 19-28 mm (0.75-1.10 in). Like other members ofArgiope they are considered harmless to humans.
