Re: kx-tg5632

If the phone will still make a call and ring and receive a call but you cannot communicate with each other then the handset is still shaking hands with the base okay, but it is odd you lost both receive and transmit (not just one or the other). Were you using a headset too? Try using a headset if you still cannot hear or be heard, and you have other handsets that work fine, it sounds as if you need to send it in for repair. Depending on where you bought it, and what actually has gone bad it might still be under warranty so you might want to go back to the company you bought it from if they will fix it an no charge. If not, you can google cordless telephone repair and the first couple of non sponsored links should be able to help you.

Led display does not work on my panasonic 5.8Ghz phone KX-TG5632

I just spoke to Panasonic Tech Support about the LED screen being blank. FYI its blank on both my handsets - one which I never even use. He made me do a few button presses, etc but nothing worked. So he tells me I have a "loose connection on the LED" so I must have dropped the phone or something. I said NO, I never dropped the phone, and one of the handsets I never even used - and its happening on that one too. So bottom line you have to take it to a Panasonic repair center at your own expense if its over the one year warranty - for what I personally think is a flaw on their phone design. I think after so much time the LED screen just goes away...since its happening on both handsets, and neither of them were dropped. Its a shame because the phone works fine, but I need the LED screen for the mute button, etc. So my solution for you is to stay away from Panasonic phones and the lame customer support, and go buy a different brand.

My kx-tg5632 panasonic phone caller id no longer works. we just moved. it worked at the other location, now it doesn't. phone company says it's not on their end...

Before accepting the phone company's word, make sure another basic caller id phone can display CID. If it does then check the programming in the phone's set up menu to be sure it hasn't been mistakenly disabled.

Panasonic handset, KX-TG5632 buttons won't work

After trying all possible solutions (unplugging, replugging unit; switching batteries and, my idea of smacking the handset with my hand), I bought a new phone. :-)

Hearing the phone when another phone if off the hook.

Your having what is called "line loss". The telephone signal is not strong enough to power multiple units. You should use the hold feature, or turn your volume up, or use the conference feature, but the best solution is to put it on hold if you can.
