Hi Pate the only thing i can advice you is go to a service center near to your place.All watch technician like me have the knowledge to remove the links with no impaired damage or scratch.We know how to detach the links.So if want to know more of your watch i will give you a site that can help you and ask more information about your watch. www.invictawatch.com

It is easy for anyone who did it, but for the first time can be quite tricky. You have to take small screwdriver or pocket knife and insert the blade between strap/band and watch case lug (where the band is attached to watch), then pry it inwards applying some pressure. It will release the spring lug and the band will come off. You may need to repeat this on the other side of band as well. Rate me,plz.
