Question about Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Console

Music will not play and files cannot be deleted...

Ok, I finally got this thing and I have a 1 gig memory card-when I sync'd 'music files' from my windows media player and went to the music screen on the psp, it says that all the tracks are '0' (zero) and they won't play. Some are in mp3 format, others in .wma. I also cannot delete the files, so its wasting up my memory stick! Someone PLEASE help. :( thank you!

How do i download music onto my apple memory card

Are you talking about apple's iPhone, Dean? Unfortunately iPhone doesn't have a memory card. You may have to save the music in the phone's internal memory. You'll need iTunes on your computer to do the transfer.

Step 1. Connect your iPhone to PC via matched USB cable.
Step 2. Click the phone icon on the left corner of the interface. To manage your media files manually, you'd better go to "Options" under "Summary"tab, cancel "Automatically sync when this iPhone is connected" and check "Manually manage music and videos". Don't forget to click "Apply" when it's done.
Step 3. Import music into iTunes library from computer by clicking "File" and then "Add File to Library". Once transferred successfully, you can select the music icon on top to see all the songs.
Step 4. Click "Music" under "Settings" tab. Choose "Sync Music". You can either sync entire music library or selected playlists as you like. Then click "Sync" button at the bottom.

I cant access my music. it states that the sync took, but it is still showing that my music file is empty

1) Enter a name for the BlackBerry smartphone that media files will be transferred to
2) Choose to use either the Device Memory or the Media Card memory
3) Specify how much memory to keep free of music
4) Delete music transferred from all sources managed by BlackBerry Media Syncronization.
5) Indicate whether the BlackBerry smartphone should check for BlackBerry Media Syncronization updates when BlackBerry Media Syncronization opens, or should never check for updates.
I hope I was able to help you.
Thank you for using Fixya.

Creative zen music will not play on memory card

I also use Napster. Unfortunately with the music being on the memory card and not on the device itself, Napster detects this and will not play music from the memory card.

There are two things you can do to resolve this, the first one won't cost you anything. Move non-Napster music files to the memory card, leaving only Napster music on the device itself. As a Napster-To-Go device, you'll be able to play and sync without issues. The second is to purchase the tracks from Napster that you want on the memory card. Once you do this, you can play them in any compatible media - not just the Zen device.

Downloading to a zte c79

i JUST bought this phone, and got very frustrated trying to download music into the music player. Drag and drop your music files from your pc into your "my music" folder. They DO NOT show up right away, this is why i got pissed. I figured I was doing something wrong. I had the card in my phone, and my phone plugged into the usb port. They finally showed up on my phone after I took the card out and put it back in. As far as saving them for ringtones, I am pretty pissed that I can't do it. I am thinking Metro wants us to pay for them. That is such b&*%$#*!

Plugged my brand new voyager in and sync'd it to my pc with the v-cast essentials cdrom, started copying my first song on to the phone from the vcast music manager, and all the sudden the computer said...

figured it out. turns out my cheesy 1 gig sndisk memory card in my voyager is a bit too cheesy for the phone. took the disk out, tried to get into my music , worked fine. the guys at the verizon store told me it could also be that the voyager would rather have mp3 files than wma files, and it crashed it with the first wma i tried to sync. who knows. either way, for all you voyager users out there, i would really suggest spending the extra money on a high end 4 gig or more memory card for your phone, because as the verizon people said, these phones are "so sick", that the cheesy stuff messes with the software..

Saving songs on sd memory card

1. Put a micro SD card into your phone. (Make sure it's blank)
2. Format the card from your phone. To do this go into "Menu//Settings & Tools//Memory//Card Memory" then click on "Options" that should open the format screen. Enter your security code (usually the last four digits of your cell #) and format the card.
3. Exit all menu screens by pressing the "End" button and remove your card.
4. Insert your card back into your PC. It should recognize the card and open a "Removable Disk" window. (if not, manually open this window by clicking on "Start//My Computer//drive E: or F:" , they might vary depending on your computer set-up.
5. You should see a folder named "my_music". That's where you are going to drag your music files into.
6. DO NOT open any media player. Just find the location of your music FILES. Usually if you click on "Start//My Music" your music FILES will be stored there.
7. Simply drag and drop music FILES into the folder that I listed on #5. DO NOT drag an albulm. It won't work. Just the music file.
