TN timer comes with red and turquoise trippers
Red OFF tripper #107TN222
Turquoise ON tripper # 107TN221

Place trippers around outer edge of dial at on-off times you select.
Turn lamp ON, plug lamp into timer, plug timer into wall.
Manually rotate dial clockwise to watch lamp turn on-off.
Move switch on top of timer both directions to see how to set switch.
After setting switch and trippers, manually rotate clock dial until current time line up with arrowhead located on inner dial.
Dial rotates as time passes, and trippers push switch that turns lamp on-off

How to set timer.
Remove dial from body of timer.

Silver ON trippers and brass OFF trippers can be removed.

Place trippers in times you want timer to operate.
In this case, set silver ON tripper at 4pm
Set brass OFF tripper at 7am
Timer comes with 2 pair of trippers, so you will only use one pair.
Save the extra pair of trippers for when 1st pair of trippers wears out.

Snap timer back together.
Manually rotate dial around to watch lights come on.
To set current time, rotate dial until current time lines up with mark.

Dial rotates with passing time.
Tripper rotates around with dial.
When tripper contacts on-off lever, it physically moves lever like turning light switch on-off.
ON tripper moves lever one direction.
OFF tripper moves lever opposite direction.

How to set a tork timer?

Tork makes a page-full of timers.

Rotate dial until current time lines up with arrow, then set the pins as shown in photo below

1) If timer plugs into wall receptacle, it has pins around the dial.
2) If timer replaced a wall switch it also has pins around dial.
5c2286f.jpg

GE and Woods and Tork and Intermatic each make similar timers.
Pull and push the pins to set times.
The wall-switch type timer also has a switch >>> move switch to Timer

Up-vote if this information helped. Thanks for the feedback.

Dryer Does Not Tumble When Pressing Start

Hi,First of all check your door switch, make sure it is operational. If the door switch checks good, the start switch could be faulty, in newer dryers the start switch is built into the timer in older dryers your start switch may be separate, if you have to push on the timer dial to start the dryer, its built into the timer.

Check any other safety's that may be stuck open.Double check anyway. If it wont do anything, I would say its the door switch or the start switch.
Thank you

Timer button won't rotate and dry time is very long

The timer has a little motor in it that causes it to turn and it sounds like it has failed. I'm assuming you can manually turn the timer all the way around. If you can, then it is not mechanically stuck. It's the motor within the timer.

Replace the timer/controller.

If this helps you, please select YES to one of the first two ratings questions. Thank you, and Good Luck.

When i set the time on dryer and then push the button to start then dryer will run for a few minutes but then stops but still has a ticking noise

Your problem could be a faulty timer.
Watch the time and see if it rotates to different cycles. If it does not rotate to different cycles then you may need to replace the timer switch
