Question about Panasonic Panafax UF-9000 All-In-One Laser Printer

1 Answer

Uf 9000 ip address

How do I change the IP address on the machine itself? I've looked at every function in this machine and nowhere did I see the IP address to be able to change it.

Just wondering if you've found a solution. I'm trying to do the same thing on our uf-9000. Any help would be appreciated.
Panasonic technical support is not good.

I had to reset the Panasonic back to factory defaults. Then I installed the driver and communications utility which I downloaded from Panasonic's website. After resetting the machine, our DHCP assigned it a new IP address and the utility was able to find it on our network. Good luck!

If you are the network supervisor you know or should be able to know the IP address of every device. If you are not the supervisor why would try to install anything on the network? You should talk to the IT geek who supervises the network.

How do I change my WD5000G032-001 external hard drive's IP address?

Very few external disk-drives _have_ an IP-address (the Apple Time-Machine is the exception). For those drives that do,
they obtain their IP-address automatically, by sending a 'request' out through their network-connection. A DHCP ('Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol') server on the network sends an IP-address to it. Most 'home' routers (wired or wireless) include the DHCP-server functionality.

So, the only way to change the IP-address is to configure the DHCP-server to always assign the desired IP-address whenever that specific device sends a 'request' for an IP-address.

Print jobs are not getting queued.

This is late but most likely the IP address is set to DHCP or auto and the printer is changing the IP address.
You need to set it to manual, and set the IP address static.
Those machines will change the IP address by itself.
Sometime even when you have set it manually it will change back to auto.
