First, remove the battery and power plug.
Next, insert battery and charge phoner completely before restarting it.

Try restarting it and see what happens. This has workend for my phone several times.

If that fails, take it to the nearest center and ask them to backup you contacts and other content and reflash the phone...

Resetting the phone deletes all data, including downloaded applications, and resets the phone back to its initial state. Press HOME > MENU, then tap Settings > Security > Factory data reset. On the Factory data reset screen, tap Reset phone and then tap Erase everything. To reset the phone using phone buttons, with the phone turned off, press and hold the HOME, END CALL/POWER, and BACK buttons. The reset process will start after a few seconds

SOURCE: Whenever I turn my phone

try toggling the volume bar on the right during boot to see if you get option to do a hard reset. If not, try going to your carrier and borrowing another battery in-store to test. If that does not do it, you are probably looking at buying a new phone.

The battery is completely dead, charge for about 1 hour; if flashing light continues then you need a new battery, I've just done this to my phone..

I DROPPED MY PHONE IN WATER NOW WHEN I TURN IT BACK ON EVERYTHING WORKS FINE EXECEPT THE LIGHT OF MY SCREEN ITS SO DARK I CULD BARELY SEE ANYTHING.WHAT DO I DO NOW?

If your device gets covered in water, act fast and rationally, and you may be able to save your device.

1. DO NOT TRY TO TURN IT ON
2. Pull out the battery.
3. Please your device and battery into a bowl of uncooked rice to absorb any moisture.
4. Please it in a warm, dry place where it can receive direct sunlight.
5. Be patient. It is recommended that you leave it in there for at least 48 hours.
6. After 48 hours, put the battery back in and power on.

Phone will not turn on and red led light flashes

Yep. Take a soft cloth and wipe the 5 or 6 battery contacts, CAREFULLY! Dont use water or cleaners. Put battery back in, dont turn on phone, and let it charge until light turns green. Will likely take several hours.
