A slack pulley rubber may be the cause. This will cause the tray not to load fully and will not allow the open/close switch to make contact. However, this can only be fixed by a qualified technician.

Sony Hbd tz510 remote code

The remote control code for Sony HBD-TZ510 home theater system may vary depending on the brand of the remote you are using. Here are a few common remote control codes that may work:
  • 30158
  • 31759
  • 31939
  • 31758
To program your remote, follow these steps:
  1. Turn on your Sony HBD-TZ510 home theater system.
  2. Press and hold the "Code Search" button on your remote control until the indicator light illuminates.
  3. Press the "DVD" or "AUX" button on your remote to select the device you want to program.
  4. Enter the four-digit code using the number buttons on your remote.
  5. Press the "Power" button to test if the code is correct. The device should turn off if the code is correct.
  6. If the device turns off, press the "Enter" button to save the code. The indicator light will turn off.
  7. If the device does not turn off, repeat steps 4-6 with a different code until you find the correct one.
Note: If you do not have the original remote control that came with your Sony HBD-TZ510, you may need to purchase a universal remote control that is compatible with your device.

MY SONY HBD-DZ810 HOME THEATER IS CONSTANTLY SHOWING PUSH POWER PROTECTOR

The "PROTECT" and "PUSH POWER" messages will flash alternately when the protective device of the amplifier has been activated because a strong signal was input, or if there is a short-circuit detected. Press the POWER button on the unit to turn off the system, and check the following items after "STANDBY" disappears.

1) Are the + and - speaker cords short-circuited?
2) Are you using only the specified speakers?.
3) Is anything blocking the ventilation holes of the system?

You may also refer to the following link for additional troubleshooting steps.

PROTECT and PUSH POWER flash alternately on the amplifier screen

CD/DVD tray will not open.....happy to purchase a new CD/DVD component WITHOUT speakers if cant be fixed but cant find one....

These get stuck on everything with or without a disk. My advice is to take the cover off and see what it is hanging up on. It is almost never a motor. I would bet something is just off a bit that is causing the stick. There should be 4 to 6 screws to remove the cover and that will expose the drive itself. There will be a gear in there too that is usually white and plastic. That could be off the cog and just needs a tap to get it back on track.

Hi,
Change/ reduce HDMI resolution in DAV-DZ810 so your tv can get proper video signal because it seems DAV-DZ810 is set on bit higher picture resolution and tv is unable to present that picture.
Thanks.
