My sister forgot her Apple ID on her iPad and she's 55 and can't remember her password what to do?

Under this circumstance you may have to reset the iPad if you forget both Apple ID and its password.

To reset iPad without Apple ID, you need first put iPad into DFU mode and connect it to your iTunes. Your iTunes will help you to reset your iPad without entering Apple ID easily. Resetting your iPad with this method will result in wiping all the data in your tablet. The following steps will show you how to do that.

Step 1: Open iTunes on your computer and connect your iPad to the computer with a USB cable.
Step 2: After that, turn off you device. Press and hold the Home button for 3 seconds.
Step 3: Put your iPad into DFU mode: Press and hold the Power and Home button for 10 seconds. Then release the power button and keep holding the home button. When you see the Apple logo disappears, you have successfully put your iPad into DFU mode.
Step 4: When iTunes detects that your iPad is in recovery mode, you can restore it now.
Step 5: Click on Restore iPad. Then you will be notified after the reset and your iPad will take a restart.

After resetting your iPad with the guidance mentioned above, you'd better create a new Apple ID and password in time. After resetting iPad, you will get all the data swept from iPad, and you can restore the files from your iPad, iTunes backup or iCloud backup. However, you can't backup iPad to iTunes/iCloud without Apple ID before you reset your iPad . In this case, you need the third-party iOS data recovery software to help you recover lost data from iPad after factory reset without Apple ID.

Re set ipad mini

Generally speaking, you need the Apple ID to reset your iPad. iPad needs you to enter the Apple ID to switch off your account and the Find My iPhone service will be turn off. If you are using iTunes to reset your iPad, you need to enter the Apple ID when your iPad reboots.

But if you have no Apple ID or passcode, you will have to reset your iPad without Apple ID. To reset iPad without Apple ID, you need first put iPad into DFU mode and connect it to your iTunes. Your iTunes will help you to reset your iPad without entering Apple ID easily. Resetting your iPad with this method will result in wiping all the data in your iPad. Step 4: When iTunes detects that your iPad is in recovery mode, you can restore it now.
Step 5: Click on Restore iPad. Then you will be notified after the reset and your iPad will take a restart.

Ave a lock screen on my Ipad and cant remeber my apple ID

If your iPad is disabled, the only way to unlock it is to completely erase and reset it. If you have a backup, you'll be able to restore it, otherwise you'll lose all of your data. There is no way to unlock a disabled iPad unless you use the correct passcode or you erase it. And the following guidance will show you how to unlock a disabled iPad with iTunes.

Step 1. Connect your iPad to the computer with via a USB cable that your iPad has trusted.
Step 2. Launch iTunes. If you've synced your iPad with iTunes, then no "enter password" is required.
Step 3. iTunes will automatically sync your iPad and create a backup file. If it doesn't, you should sync your iTunes and create a backup file manually by clicking "Back up Now" in the Summary window.
Step 4. In the Summary window, you can see the option "Restore iPad". Click it to reset your iPad. Once the reset process is complete, you'll be taken through the iPod's initial setup process.
Step 5. Select "Restore from iTunes backup" during the setup process. This will load the backup that you created so that all of your data is restored.

How do I sin out of my iPad my iPad won't let me

Understand that all the apps and data on the iPad are associated with an Apple ID so "signing out" of your iPad may render some apps and functions useless.

If you are looking to sell your iPad its best to plug it into a computer and restore factory defaults. This will remove all apps and IDs associated with your iPad.

If you are simply looking for security and worry that while signed into your Apple ID there is a chance for fraudulent downloads and purchases it would be my recommendation to set a password/passcode for the iPad that only you know. This will prevent other users form gaining access to your data without your permission.

The iPad is not meant to sign in and sign out at will but if you need to sign out and add another Apple ID then here are the steps to do so.

There are 2 places in which your Apple ID are linked with your iPad. Your iCloud account (photos/documents/ID) and iTunes (music/movies/apps)

You can adjust settings for these individually under Settings > iCloud and Settings > iTunes & App Store

Simply click on the Apple ID email and then choose "Sign Out"
REMEMEBER, some apps and functions may not work without an associated Apple ID registered with the iPad.

Good luck!

How to unlock a icloud locked ipad

Step 1 Navigate to Apple's Find My iPhone page (link in Resources). Alternatively, if you have another Apple device, you can download and launch the free Find My iPhone app from the Apple store.
Step 2
Sign in to iCloud using the Apple ID associated with the iPad.
Step 3
Click "All Devices," and then select your iPad.
Step 4
Click "Erase iPad," and then re-enter your Apple ID password. Enter any phone number and message. This information displays on the iPad screen, and is normally used to help you recover your iPad if you lose it.
Step 5
Turn on your iPad, and then wait several minutes for iCloud to erase the information on the device. If your iPad uses only Wi-Fi, the device must be within range of your Wi-Fi network.
Step 6
Restart the iPad, if necessary, to bring up the Activate iPad screen, and then enter your Apple ID and password. The iPad opens to the setup screen because you erased all of your information.
Step 7
Tap "Set Up Your Device" to begin reconfiguring the tablet.
Step 8
Tap "Restore From iCloud Backup" if you have a backup of the iPad on your iCloud account. Sign in to iCloud again, if prompted, tap "Choose Backup," and then select the most recent iCloud backup to restore your iPad without the lock code.
Good Luck

On my apple ipad mini model A1432 that I bought from a friend the passcode that I'm putting in is incorrect. How can I get a new passcode?

After you put in the wrong pass code 3 times, you only can unlock the iPad with the correct password, belonging to the Apple ID from what is only a part shown on the screen. If you don't have the passcode nor the password Apple assumes you are not the legal owner, and you can't use the iPad anymore. Just go back to your friend, ask him to unlock the screen, to wipe the content and reset the iPad to factory settings.
For that goto settings, general and scroll to the bottom line and press that. then the second line wipe everything. Again the login code is asked. but after that the iPad is empty.Your friend should also remove the iPad from his list of registered Apple equipment.

I bought an ipad2 restored it and now it wants the person who set it up account and i cant find them what else can i do

You can try to go into settings and then tap on the iTunes and App Store section. You should see an Apple ID in the top section. Tap on it and sign out of the previous owners account.

After that you should be able to set up or enter your own Apple ID and account.

Hope that helps!
