How do I reload staples into my Xerox WorkCentre 7530?

You did not indicate finisher? Xerox MFPs' come with the most finishing options of any manufacturer.... I included instructions for all of them below. Enjoy!
Solution : Load Staples in the Professional Finisher With Booklet Maker The stapler in the booklet maker uses two Staple Cartridges labeled R2 and R3. Booklet stapling requires that both Staple Cartridges be free of jammed staples.
WARNING: Do not perform this procedure when the printer is copying or printing.
  1. Make sure the printer has stopped copying or printing.
  2. Open the Finisher Front Door.

  3. Squeeze the orange R2 and R3 levers together and pull the Staple Cartridge unit out of the Finisher until it stops.

NOTE: The Staple Cartridge unit does not detach from the Finisher.

How can i refill my mp540 cartridge?

First, purchase these refillable ink cartridges from a third party company: http://www.dhgate.com/canon-mp540-mp620-mp630-refillable-ink-cartridge/p-ff80808129a751870129aff7bc723664.html After that, head to staples or go online to order the ink. The cartiridges that come with the Canon or the retail ones may or may not work because of the microchip inside of each cartridge. You can try to refill those by removing the label off the top, and you should see a hole or two to poke a needle into. Once you purchase a refill kit it should come with something to inject the ink with.

Staple unit impossible to open

Has to be empty to open. At bottom there should be a small black lever that moves down to indicate staples are present. This sometimes falls out giving a false replace staples message. Cartridge itself must be replaced. This is the cartridge where you insert the staples into. Clear plastic with spring.

How do i add more staples

Hi, You cannot add staples while there are still some left in the cartridge, you will have to wait until it is all finished, the paper holder comes out from the bottom of the cartridge, remove the old staple paper holder, pay careful attention or put a mark on the outside, now you are ready to insert the new staples in the cartridge. First you need to remove the new staples and take out the wrapper carefully, line up the arrow with the cartridge and insert it into the cartridge then snap it into place, replace the cartridge in the machine when you are done.
Thats it.
This fix is for the small finisher that hangs on the machine, it`s called M1 Finisher.

If you need a service manual for this model machine you can get it here

Inserting staples

If the machine has an in-built finisher, the stapler is located in the rear of device. Pull the finisher release handle and pull the finisher towards you. Extract the staple cartridge by pulling up in the green tab at the rear right of the finisher. The staple cartridge can be opened by squeezing the sides together to allow the spring to act. (Sometimes it can be helped with a screwdriver popping the clear tabs located on the underside). Insert the replacement staple pack and pull the orange tab before closing the cartridge shut. Reinsert into the finisher and push down to locate it. Should work ok after all that.

Stapler is located in the finisher. Open finisher door, remove empty staple cartridge, insert new staple cartridge, close finisher door. Check canon.usa.com for operators manual.
