Is the problem like this. I have a Mitsubishi WD-62530 and the screen is now - 7731a3ef-e74e-4749-85d8-fec3c051ffc0.jpgthis is a sing that the DLP chip is failing. these can be changed but I don't know the number off hand, when you take off the back in the middle there is a board with 3 plastic caps. take the wires off this board. take the caps off and there is some screws inside this is the lining up the screen part you will need to do after you have replaced the chip. take the board away. and take the casings of the board you will find a heat sink take this off as behind it hold the screw that hold the DLP chip in place when it is all removed carefully remove the chip being very careful it just prise out but has very tiny pins on the back of it. put new one in and now do in revers order replace the heat sink paste on the back of the cooling fin. when all back together you need to lockat the switch were the light is fitted it will be a push type that when the case is fitted it will push it in. make it so it stays pushed in. not turn on the tv. remember them 3 screws in the plastic. them are now going to need to be adjusted. using a flat head or something plastic. just have the screw touching in place so the board can be moved. have tv set to a tv program with reports on the bottom of the screen. you need to lift the board and move it around til the screen fits the picture. this is a long and tedious thing to do, take a few goes as you need to keep checking that it matches with other programs. I used a screen program on laptop into the tv and set it up that way but still ended up using programs to test the placement should not be green any more any way. this is a picture of the chip you will need.cbb17047-10d9-4d29-943c-ce58603c7069.jpghope this helps you out need any more info contacted me here.

I have a mitsubishi wd 62530 08' model had blue showing through left side of tv working towords the middle, screen looks greenish yellow what is the problem

This is a known issue with these sets.

They use an OPTICAL LIGHT ENGINE which the lamp shines directly into: the blue section (it has blue, red and green sections with lens and baffles) is the first to get hit by the light and its heat.

Commonly it burns that area (blue) first.

This is permanent damage and either the display chip has to be replaced (over 200 part and not a do it yourself replacement) or the entire engine has to be replaced.

Sony and similar brands have the same problem--Sony is fixing a lot of them even if out of warranty for free (class action lawsuit!).

This is a 98% certainty in your case.

You may want to contact Mitsubishi to see what if anything they will do.

You might not get a straight answer from them so GOOGLE the model number and research this on the internet-------
