If your laptop didn't come with a cd-rom in it, then there is no practical way to install one where there is no place made for one---get an external usb cd drive.

Take laptop with to place were u want to buy cd so they can see what will work.

Insert the Toshiba A60 recovery disc into the CD/DVD-ROM drive.
Power off the Toshiba (with the recovery disc still loaded inside the optical drive).
Release the "F12" key when the" In Touch with Tomorrow TOSHIBA" screen is displayed. This will open up the BIOS.
Change the boot order by using the arrow keys to select "CD/DVD ROM" icon in the menu. The Toshiba will now boot from the recovery disc and restore the system. Follow any additional on-screen instructions.
