HE error code on samsung dishwasher?

This is usually a failed HEATING ELEMENT or HEATER RELAY. Disconnect power & remove the dishwasher from under the counter.
The HEATER RELAY is located on the right side of the D/W. A metal panel/shield (on the right side) must be removed to gain access for testing.
Testing the HEATING ELEMENT *can* be done from the bottom/front---but is easier if the D/W is placed on it's back---and removing the bottom cover/panel.
In many cases I have seen failed HEATING ELEMENTS or RELAYS on Samsung D/Ws---in homes which had an INSTANT WATER HEATER (AKA: Tankless Water Heater).
This type of Water Heater requires a minimum GALLON-PER-MINUTE of water flow---before it will *heat* the water.
Many dishwashers have a lower GPM flow rate than required---this results in NO HOT WATER at all during water fill.
The D/W heating sytem remains "on" for long periods of time---each time the D/W is used.
Eventually the HEATING ELEMENT or HEATER RELAY fails

Water heater

Most instant-on tankless water heaters require at least 10 psi of water pressure to start the heating process. The flow of water determines how hot the water will be, within the heating range. An electric 110 volts heater will increase the water temperature about 25 degrees F. A gas water heater will increase the water temperature about 45 degrees F.
Too much flow will not allow the water time to heat. Too little flow will not allow the heating system to work. Each heater must have the outflow water flow adjusted for the best heating outcomes. The best way to find the ideal flow is to turn the hot water facet on and adjust it (open or close) until the water reaches the balance of producing hot water.

Boiler won't ignite for hot water unless heating is on.

If this is in a RV the propane monitoring valve may require more gas flow to turn on than the water heater requires. A central heating system requires substantial gas flow so when the monitoring valve opens to fire the central heating, there is enough gas flow to also fire the water heater.

I have fractional spa pump with 1000 watt heater. the spa was on but no water was in it while it ran overnight. did this burn the heat elements out of it and can I fix it?

It should be OK. These units should have a flow switch to prevent activation of heating element without water flow. Yes, heating elements can be relatively easily be changed if needed.

Why is my Bosch high flow 21e heater started working intermittently only heating water after tap is turned on and off a few times

Check gas pressures first especially on low setting. Ensure gas burner is clean get unit serviced if over 2 years old. Check or replace water flow sensor & clean inlet filter.

Hello,
I had the same problem. It was my heater/boiler this one runs my home heating and water. There's a 3 way gateway for central heating and hot water for shower etc. Probaly you got a aire bubble in there. Find the 3 way gateway and give it a knock, the bubble will disapear and the hot water will flow again. I'm sorry for my english but i'm Dutch.

How does an electrial water heater work

it uses resistive heating elements that are encased in an electrical insulation and then covered with metal, like the cooking elements in a stove, or on a cooktop range. when electricity flows through them they heat up and get hot (like a light bulb filament wire glows) When the water reaches a certain temperature set on the thermostat, it opens the electricity, turns it off to the element until the water cools down past whatever temperature it is set at, and then it turns back on. That is why if too many people take a shower you will run out of hot water because cold water is always flowing through the water heater and when all the hot water is used, you have to wait for the heating elements to heat the water back up. To make sure it heats up quickly make sure all the HOT water faucets are off so that water isn't flowing through it and is just sitting there heating up. All work on the same principle.
