Be more specific. You haven't any power on your treadmill? If you have light main-button the light is on? Or when you press start button your treadmill doesn't work ?

I have a New Balance 1400. How do you do a hard reset on it?

In almost all treadmill error 1 denotes the speed sensor error.
In you case I suspect there is some variation in the alignment of the speed sensor. May it moved away from the magnet Which is fixed on the rotating wheel. Try to make it closer as much as it can, be sure not to keep a small distance .hope it will solve the problem.

Horizon treadmill won't start running

The manual said that after lubricating the deck, press Stop and Speed buttons together for 5 minutes and this will reset the lubrication message and the treadmill should work.
