I would suggest resetting to default settings and hit the F 10 key to save and exit.

SOURCE: Onboard Lan causes boot and shut down problem

It sounds like you have some bad LAN circuity on your motherboard. You might try a workaround by installing a separate LAN card and using that. If the separate card doesn't solve the problem your motherboard is just bad and needs to be replaced.

SOURCE: mercury drivers

Drivers are generally for your system (sound, display, NIC, etc) ... Whereas searching with the name of your motherboard may often only result in you finding updates to your bios.

Onboard devices (such as your sound/audio device) that might be built in to a motherboard are often referred to by the maker of the device/chip that handles the task on the motherboard. (for example. a person may have an ASUS motherboard but it's onboard display might be 3D Labs Oxygen VX1 ... you would likely need to search under 3D (etc) , not ASUS)

Bottom line - the drivers for your system will require you to know what devices are in your system by model and manufacturer.
Make a list of the all the information ... Sound/Audio, Display/Graphics, Network Interface card, etc. etc.

A couple of the first places you could try would be the websites of the maker of your motherboard, and the maker of your system (i.e. HP etc) and see what you can come up with.

Once you make your list of devices as I noted above, then go to DriverGuide.com ... one of the best free driver sites on the web.
