Question about Philips 26PF5521D 26 in. HD-Ready LCD Television

Vesa screw holes

I bought a vesa bracket for my Philips 26" lcd tv, but when I tried screwing the bracket bolts into the back of the tv they went into four of the holes, but would only go about a quarter of the way into the two holes on the left hand side. I telephoned Philips who couldn't give me an answer, neither could the bracket makers. Does anuyone know why only four bolts will go in.

Re: vesa screw holes

Most wall brackets are universal for a particular vesa standard, in this case 100mm x 200mm.

This means that the bolts supplied aren't for any particular set.

The Philips 26PF5521D only needs bolts up to about 12mm long.

Try shorter bolts.

Hi I have a digimate tv model modl lt321c2m1 and I am wondering if I can mount it on the wall. Can I?

Please look on the back, there should be 4 mounting holes (for Metric screws) Iin what is called VESA mounting pattern. Just measure the pattern.

When you buy the mounting bracket, it will come with a bag of Metric mounting screws to attach your TV to the bracket.

I need help finding mounting screws and bolts for my 47" 1080P 120HZ LCD w/2YR. The table that I bought for the tv dindn't bring them.

If you want to put the LCD on a stand you"ll need the original that screws on the bottom. best way to mount LCD is to the wall or on a metal stand. There are holes on the back of the LCD to mount the bracket most brackets have a lot of holes just move the bracket up or down until two line up. The screws are almost all metric coarse thread and usually are included with the bracket kit. I got my kit at Wal Mart

You would use vesa screws 4mm x 10mm - for non-recessed vesa mounting holes.
4mm x 20mm + approx 1ccubewi_0.pngm spacer - for recessed vesa mounting holes

How do I adjust the stand

The stand does tilt the TV forward but you can adjust it. Remove the entire stand bracket from the back of the TV with a philips head screwdriver (6 screws). Then use a 1/2" wrench to loosen the two adjustment bolts on the wings. Straighten the angle on the wings, retighten the bolts, and reinstall the bracket. Then the TV will stand straight up.

There is no such bolt size as 4.5mm, if you look in to an imperial size bolt instead you will find that the imperial size converts back to 4mm or 5mm (M4 or M5 and nothing in the middle).
Samsung can not advise on the correct bolt for your tv model as they do not have the specification for this, this is a factory error - no other Samsung model hase this problem.
You can use PTFE tape, wrap this around the M4 bolt to give it .5mm, PTFE tape is used by plumbers to make screw threads water tight when using compression fittings. You can buy PTFE tape from any DIY store.

That TV is new enough to have a VESA standard connection on the back, try attaching the mount directly to the 4 screw holes on the back, tv's don't normally need an adapter if the back is fitted with VESA. if not you can find low cost adapter plates on for the most part any vesa adapter than matches your size will function fine.

good luck-
