SOURCE: GE Profile Refrig model PSC23SGRC ice maker

Your model has an electronic ice maker part number Click Here=> WR30X10093 When the electronic ice maker fails you usually need to replace the complete ice maker. You can test the ice maker by filling the tray with tap water. If the water freezes aand then drops the ice then the water control on the back of your refrigerator is the reason. The water control valve is Click Here=> WR57X10032 Either way let me know your results, Thank You, Sea Breeze

SOURCE: makes too much ice and it overflows

You cannot - this is a design issue that really cannot be fixed since the arm that senses the ice level cannot get caught up in the bucket or it would break every time you opened the freezer. Any fridge brand of this type has the same issue.

G.E. Profile Model# TPX24SPZCBS stopped making ice.

Check the overflow trigger that hangs over the bucket. If that's working correctly, check the water intake line for clogging, which can happen fairly easily because the line is small. You should be able to shut the line off where it connects to your water supply to test it.

Good luck!

My GE Profile ice maker has stopped making ice. It feels like there is ice in the tray but it doesn't drop into the ice bucket. Any ideas?

There is a lever that goes up and down to measure the amount of ice and shuts down the production if the lever is on high. Make sure the lever is down and see what happens 12 hours later. If you still don't have ice, it will need professional work. So call your service agent where you purchased it to get it checked if that happens ok. Good luck.

Ice maker does not stop working and overfills, then ice dispenser does not work and pushes door open.

Continuous ice production, too much ice in the bucket, ice cubes overflowing the bucket, ice cubes falling behind the bucket or ice lifting the chiller shelf can now be resolved by installing a redesigned feeler arm. The new arm is designed with a slight curve to cycle the icemaker “OFF“ before the cubes overflow the ice bucket. Order part number WR49X10103.
