Re: Mouse Control

See if its plugged in properly or try connecting it in the ps/2 port and install the driver if you havent done that yet

I have an l2410NM monitor. It has been working perfectly but this morning, I receive no picture at all. The screen is black but the arrow pointer from the mouse is visible and moves about aw normal. ...

If you can see a mouse pointer, then your monitor is not the issue.
Your operating system is not loading properly. You will need to have you system looked at to determine why your operating system is not loading correctly.

Acer monitor frozen & curser will not move.

If your mouse will not move, it is a problem with the computer, Make sure you're plugging it into the correct port. If it's a ps2 mouse don't plug it into the keyboard port by mistake.

Does the keyboard work? If you press the windows key does the start menu come up?

If the keyboard works, try using a USB mouse. If the keyboard does not work, try plugging the keyboard in where the mouse is and the mouse in where the keyboard is.

Mouse cursor moving by itself

In windows xp go into start menu, then into control panel then click on appearance and themes, then move your mouse over to mouse pointers click on it , uncheck "enhance pointer precision, and click apply, that will stop the mouse from acting crazy, this will work with dell mouse pointers and most.
