2003 saturn vue
Perhaps it's still tired from the previous night and hasn't had appropriate levels of caffeination. Check voltage at the fuse circuit and all appropriate points along the circuit path. Check for both blown AND simple worn fuses....which won't carry the full current and could potentially cause a noticeable drop in voltage leading to the sluggishness. Similarly, make sure there are no broken or worn wires or connectors along the circuit path.
But before any time is spent delving into potential electrtical sources for the poorly performing moon roor, thoroughly clean out carefully examine the track and areas the roof moves from A (close) to B (open) for obstructions like leaves/debris, dents or small buckles or flares in the body, damaged seals and worn rubber gaskets.....basically anything that could cause an obstruction or slow the open/closing action......
Finally, if nothing comes of these first 2, carefully test the motor/drivers that power the movement of the moon roof.
And lubricate, lubricate.......LUBRICATE!!!!
