Question about Carrier 38CKC018 Air Conditioner
Please email me so i can further assist you with this....it could be a transformer or a bad fuse....the air handler ( the blower under/in your furnace) should come on either way.

Be sure the power cord is plugged into a properly grounded wall outlet. Then, press the POWER button on the projection display or the remote control to turn the unit on.
While pressing the VOL- button on the projection display, hold down the PIP or SPLIT button on the remote control at same time for more than 5 seconds.
When reset procedure is complete, the screen will indicate that the lamp has been reset!
NOTE: When lamp time reset is finished, the LAMP indicator goes out!
