Toshiba won't start

My toshiba laptop satellite A55-S326 will not start. It may be a probelm with the button or could be something else entirely. hard to tell. It worked yesterday, I brought it home and now it won't start. The power source and battery are working. Thanks for all your help!

When I turn on my A55 I get Power connector light and the battery light then after I hit the button I get the power on light but no fan spin or anything. What do you suggest I do to fix this?

Hi, what happens when you push the button? Lights, sounds from inside the laptop, anything flash on the screen?

Yes, but you'll have to open the computer to do it. I wouldn't suggest this unless you are prepared to buy another laptop.

The next step is to reseat the internal components. You'll have to unscrew the back parts and pull ou the RAM and then out it back in. Then disconnect the hard drive and then reconnect it. Then try to power on your laptop.

Let me know how it goes, or if you need help feel free to open a live chat with me and i'll walk you through it.

    Good Luck

My toshiba laptop satellite A55-S326 wont boot. Only can use the escape key then go into bios but still doesn't boot. Tried my recovery disc & it goes thru the instal but then still goes to a blank...

Your install discs are bad. Please don't shoot the messenger. Call Toshiba for new discs. Here is the number (it took me 30 minutes to find this. Please give me a 4-thumbs-up rating. If you don't, I spent time away from family for free).

My toshiba sattellite a55-s326 has a flashing yellow light but won't power up.

Hello,

You may try this; Turn OFF the laptop, remove the power sources (ac adapter and battery). Without power sources, hold power button 10 secs. Put back the power sources, and power ON the NB. If the laptop will not boot by doing this, take it to the nearest repair center to have it check for possible motherboard issue.

Hope this works

Also check you device manager Press the Windows key (bottom left of the keyboard} and at the same time press the R key, now in the search box that appears - type devmgmt.msc Make sure you do not need other drivers

Replace laptop headphone jack (Toshiba Satellite A55-S326)

It on board so its going to take some really good solder work and a new jack from Radioshack. or the other solution is you can buy a sound card from any best buy, computer store or even online for cheaper then you can to fix that professionally.
