Binding adjustment

There is (should be) a screw visible on each of the toe and heel pieces when looking down from directly above. That screw will adjust the height of the piece that clamps down on the top of the tabs on the heel and toe of your ski boots. For proper height measurement, use a credit card (or similar thickness card) and make sure you can somewhat freely slide the card side-to-side under your boot when it is in the binding and clamped down as when you are skiing. Too much play, and you will feel a sloppyness while skiing. Too little and you risk the binding not releasing properly caused by stiction. You can find demonstrations on YouTube also.

My RC4 pedal displayed E as in error I assumed after connecting it to my RH750

The RC4 is for use on the RH450 NOT the RH750. The RC4 will not work on the RH750.

The mechanical stage adjustment on my fisher scientific micromaster does not go (either to the left or right) as far as it previously did. I am no longer able to read the entire field of a rafter cell...

The gear that runs along the stage is probably loose. It is held in place by three screws. If the gear is nots parrallel with the X/Y axis gear it will bind. My guess would be that it is the two outer ones that are loose, thereby creating a see-saw affect.

Vertical adjustment on front binding. Salomon S810 Ti

If you can adjust vertical pressure then you should adjust it as follows.
Put a piece of normal paper (like A4 printer paper) on the toe bit (and heel for that matter) and clip in the boot so that the paper sits between the boot sole and the binding base surface. You should be able to pull the paper out from between the boot and binding without ripping the paper, but obviously without there being a noticeable gap.
If in doubt take it to a ski tech, a bit of cash might save you a broken leg! They might even be able to help you or advise free of charge.

Triple vertical printing with Z11

Here's what worked for me: (I'm using a black ink cartridge, but my 'printer properties' were set for a color cartridge, thus basically sending a '3-color signal' to my printer; making it print in triple vertical.)
Go to Settings > Control Panel > Printers. Right click on your printer, and click Properties. Click the Cartridge Maintenance tab, then click Install / Change Cartridge. Select the cartridge you are using in the drop-down list, and click Continue. Print an Alignment Page. If this dosen't work, close everything and try it again: I had to do it twice to get mine to work. Hope this helps!

Lexmark z11 Vista Compatible?

Looks like I've cracked it [Touches wooden desk]. Need a USB to IEEE 1284 36-pin Parallel Printer Cable, like the one I received today (ordered yesterday from www.cables2u.co.uk). First, connect it to Z11. Turn on Z11 and boot up Vista PC/laptop. (I run Vista Business on my laptop.) Connect cable to computer. Message appears "Installing device driver software". Click it for status. 'Found New Hardware' box appears. Click 'Locate and install driver software'. A message appears "Error loading LXADSUI.DLL. Specified module could not be found". Click 'OK'. Message appears saying driver software installed successfully. ["Yeah, right ..."] (Have faith, folks!) Now, click Start, then Control Panel and double-click Printers. Right click on Z11 and click on Set As Default Printer. Right click on Z11 again and click on Properties. Check on Ports tab that Port USB is ticked for Z11. On Cartridge Maintenance tab, check right cartridge is showing. If not, click 'Install/Change Cartridge' and follow instructions. Then 'Clean Print Nozzles' and 'Align Cartridges'. Check settings on the other tabs in Properties look OK and try printing a test page! It looks good to me!
