Question about Sony PlayStation 2 (PS2) Console

1 Answer

Nah, its not a problem with the fuses ....

Hi, I checked the fuses, they were perfectly alright. I even checked the fan because I had a bit of a trouble with the fan. Everything was fine. I think that it is a problem with the small chip in front of the power button. Has anyone come across this problem??? Can I solve it myself or do I have to give it to the repairer for changing the chip? Is the chip available in the market? If yes, then what is the name of the chip? Thanks a lot.

Hi banerjen, SInce your already into the unit, I know i give you some tips earlier. You may have a problem with the Reset/Eject Buttons. if the cable is connected, and you press them and nothing happens, We need to start looking at that. If the Red/Green led is not lighting, then someting could be wrong with the ribbon cable. Stay in touch, We will get there. I do not think it is a chip problem. Chip Problems usually are the LSER is not moving, or the DISC is not spining , or the CD tray is not opening.

Hi My treadmill does not have power. Bought before two days morning was working but evening no power only the fan works.

I'd check the manual to see if there is a circuit breaker for the motor that may have tripped. If it's all electronic, you may have a bad circuit board, blown fuse for said board, or maybe the motor bit the dust.

age. "all things get fixed by pushing a button."
nah, not even close.
  1. if the blower fan does not blow, the blower fuse is blown , check all fuses. or the fuse named that.
  2. the engine coolant must reach 180F or more, and hold there, or there will be no heat. (or tiny)
  3. if the blower blows cold air, (above good) then the dampers for the heater core is closed, bad dampers or controls.
  4. The heater core can packup if you fail to to proper engine coolant (drain, backflushes an refills.
  5. number 2 above can fail if the engine thermostat is bad or missing.

Have you checked to see if the radiator fan is coming on when the engine gets to 220 degrees ?

I have a 2000 cavalier my radiator cooling fan not working

Three things can cause this to happen.

Bad or corroded wires.
Faulty or damaged fan assembly.
Blown fuse between the fan and the power supply.

First, check over all the wires, make sure that they aren't damaged somehow.

Next, look over the fan itself, check to make sure that the fan hasn't been hit somehow, causing it to not work.

Next, check all the fuses, both the ones under the dash, as well as the ones under the hood on the fender.

Most people don't even realize that those other fuses are even there.

Also, check to see if there is an in-line fuse, or a fuse-able link that might be the cause of your fan not working.

I hope this helps steer you in the right direction, and good luck!

Heating fan not working

Have you checked your fuse? Check that you are getting power to the fan motor. If this is alright, then suspect the fan motor.

Change the wireless channel on the router or possibly the other wireless devices.

2nd: check the Keep Alive setting in the router configuration if you have DSL. Set this accordingly
