Someone gave a sansadisk e260 and I want to know how to clean it(or delete all the music that it came with)so that I could put the music I like. The manual don't explained very much.

Under settings, there is a Format option. Select that option and the disk will be erased of all preloaded stuff. From there, connect it to your Windows machine and either use Media Center to sync your music or open the Sansa up like a drive and drag the music to there.

Frozen in song.

The sansa e260 seems to have a hell of alot of faults. If SanDisk brings out a firmware upgrade definately take it, also I would strongly suggest that you write a letter to ScanDisk letting them know the grief it has caused you. I have an e260 and it has not had any problems so far, so I guess theres a little give or take sorta thing happening here.
