Cogeco code s0900

The receiver was unable to tune to the selected station for some reason.

From the Cogeco website...
If you see a "One Moment Please" error on some channels that provides a reference code starting with S, it means the receiver was unable to tune to the particular channel(s). If you are also experiencing poor service on your analog channels, this could be related to a signal issue.
You should:
  1. Check the connection to the digital receiver and make sure it is firmly secure.
  2. Bypass any splitters or other equipment between the wall outlet and our TV.
  3. Check if the cable line has been damaged.
You can also try resetting your receiver by unplugging the power for 30 seconds (keep in mind that the menu/guide will need to be downloaded again).
If the "One Moment Please" errors continue, please contact us, as a service call may be required.

Hope this helps!

So everything is plugged in for my super nintendo to my tv and I don't know what channel and I had it on 3 and 4 and alot of other channels and it says unusable signal.. What channel should it be on?

Try the 'AV' button on your remote. hitting this button repeatedly will cycle all the AV inputs on your TV. Chances are you are plugged into one of those and not a normal 'TV Channel'.
The button on my Sony remote that does this, is a square with an arrow.

My little brother and friend want to play wii mario kart wii together. They are in the nintendo WFC and have both connected, but can't figure out how to actually PLAY a game, help?

You need to install the Mario Kart Channel.

When you are in the Mario Kart Wii game, go to the "Select License" screen.

Click on the "Settings" icon in the top right corner.

Select "Mario Kart Channel.

"yes"

"Install."

your friend will need to tell you their 12 digit friend code. They can find it by going to the Mario Kart Wii Channel Select License screen.

Chose their profile.

Select "Friends".

Their 12-digit friend code will be displayed near the bottom of the scree

from the Mario Kart Wii Channel Select License screen, chose your player profile.

Select Nintendo WFC - either 1 or 2 player.

Select "Friends"

Select "Register a Friend."

Enter your friend's 12 digit code, then select "OK" to confirm.

When i plug my snes to my tv it wont work :/ i plug the cable to tv and put the snes on chan3 then i go on channel 3 with my tv and it show me a black screen ,sometime i hear 2 sec of the game music :/

Hi pikapike,

I see you are going back to the 90's with your Super Nintendo. Firstly I do not know how you can "put the snes on chan 3". If I am correct, all super nintendo cables to the TV are RV coloured ones. therefore once it is plugged into the TV, you will ant the A/V channel? which usually has a separate button.

Secondly if what you say that you get a flash/glimpse of the game, then check the system of your TV. Is it PAL (Europe, Aus, NZ, etc) or NTSC (U.S.) Hopefully you can change the TV settings to match your game console!

Hope this helps,

Can you hook up a super nes without AV cords? I have 2 cords, 1 is power and 1 connects to an antenna-like input.. do you need AV cords aswell??

It is called an RF connector.Plug your cable coming into the house from outside into the RF connector, then plug the RF connector into the TV.The TV needs to be on channel 3 or 4,depending on what it is set on the console,to use the console. There should be a selector on the console back.If there is a strong broadcast on the channel you select to use, just change to the other channel. If you have the proper channel, the TV signal will go away and the game will appear. You do not need the A/V cables.

I have just found my old super nintendo. Tried to set it up but im unsure how to do so. Can you give me step by step how to set it up?

Not to be rude but are you serious?
Do you have the SETUP MANUAL, it tells you how to.
If not then, follow these steps.

First, plug controllers to the front of the super nintendo.
Second, plug in ac adapter(power) to the back of the super nintendo(round hole).
Third, plug in video cable
-if it has a red, white, and yellow plug it into back of super nintendo and the front of the t.v.
-if it has a grey box with a wire coming out of it, plug it into the back of super nintendo and back of the t.v. where you will have to screw it in by twisting it to the right.

Now if its the three different colored wires, then it will be on the first video channel.
If it screws into the back of the t.v. then it will be on channel 3 or 4 depending on what the channel switch says on the grey box.

Put the game in with the picture facing you all the way in.
Now hit start and you should be good to go. If you get a black screen try taking the game out and blowing on it then putting it back in after all it is old!

And there you have it!

How to hookup a super nintendo to a tv using a rf modulator

Put the plug in side to the super nintendo and the screw in or push in, depending on which brand you have, to the back of the t.v. Now see what channel it is set to and use the same channel for the t.v. Voila!

Hi i just bought a super nes system it came with RF switch power unit which i have connected to the appropriate connections, i have an LG TV with an golden eye and don't seem to be able to tune the...

Make sure everything's connected in the correct sockets. Turn the SNES on, change to one of the Analogue channels (one of the channels which you control with the TV remote) and start scanning for a signal. The RF cable has to be connected to the analogue port (where a TV aerial would plug in to get analogue channels) and the SNES needs to be switched on.

The alternative is to get a SCART-compatible cable that works with a Gamecube or an N64 and use it with the SNES, as Nintendo had the foresight to add an EXT port which'll let you play the SNES on an AV channel.

Super Nintendo

I'll just tell you how to set it up with an RF cable.

1: Plug the power adapter in an outlet and plug the other side in the designated spot where it fits. Simple.

2: On the back of the SNES, there should be a switch that says channel 3 or 4. Whatever one the switch is at, it will be the channel to play it at.

3: From where it says "NES CONTROL DECK" on the RF switch, plug that into the SNES.

4: From where it says "TV" on the RF switch, screw it into the supplied ports on the TV. Note that newer TV's don't have this port.

You probably don't need to bother with the antenna port.

Enjoy the SNES! :)
