Question about Crosley WCK05W Compact Refrigerator
Hello~ I need an replacement freezer door for our Crosley WCK05W. Can't find any suppliers online using this model #. Can anyone help? Is there maybe another brand that I could use a replacement door from? Thanks
The Crosley WCK05W "Compact Kitchen" is manufactured by the WC Wood Company of Canada. The Wood model number is K05W (http://www.wcwood.com/cgi-bin/ListModel.pl?loc=usa&prod=kitchen&model=K05W). Unfortunately, Wood no longer makes the unit and the replacement doors have been sold out and is no longer available.

If the magnet of your freezer is the problem don't replace the whole door, clean the magnet side, use boiling water or hot water, to clean the magnet area

Hello - A dirty, cracked, worn or poorly fitted door gasket can allow warm air to enter the unit causing it to have to run longer to remove the warm air. Leaks in the door seal will cause freezer to run longer in order to maintain desired temperature. Cleaned the gasket, if it is too damage then it will need to be replace. You can check and see if the door seal is bad by, placing a dollar between the gasket and cabinet. Check to see if the door is being blocked by anything stopping it from closing properly. If nothing is stopping the door then replace gasket. Another possibility is an air leak and the cool air is causing the frost buildup. I suggest contacting a professional to move forward accurately and have them check the coolant system.

I can partially help you, but alas I am also looking for a replacement freezer door for one of these "compact kitchens" which I acquired. The Crosley WCK05W is (or was) manufactured by the Canadian company, WC Wood. The Wood model number is K05W (http://www.wcwood.com/cgi-bin/ListModel....). Unfortunely, the Wood customer rep said that they no longer make or carry the replacement freezer door. I have yet to find a comparable replacement.
