E 803 error in 3170

Hello,
this is Door close error.

Check if the door's nose that goes into the sensor hole broken, check the door closed/open switch, Check on connection of the front cover open/close switch (SW3) , Replace the front cover open/close
switch.

It's hard to locate it without service manual, but... if you manage to remove the plastic cover over the toner inlet then you will be able to see the hole where the nose of the door ( inner side of the door ) goes into.

For service manual, You can send me the mail on emma.servis@gmail.com

Hope that helps!

I have a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica - strut broke and made a hole through the hood of the car - is this an issue with this car

I had this same thing happen to me on the right front. Fortunately I caught mine before it made it through to the outer sheet metal of the hood. I replace the struts and upper mounts to fix.

Where would the relay switches be for the cooling fan

under the hood, driver side (usually) firewall behind battery. (passenger side if battery is there). Look at the back of the relay box cover for diagram. If there is none refer to repair manual for diagram.

- First, open the hood; Disconnect the negative battery cable;
- Remove the four grille attachment bolts;
- Remove the grille;
- Remove the two headlamp assembly attachment bolts;
- Then reach into the front wheel house ahead of the front wheel to unsnap and lift the cover over the access hole in the front of the wheel house splash shield.
- Access to the bulb retainer can be gained through the wheel liner hole (see picture).

After that reach through the access hole to access the rear lamp retainer and remove headlamp assembly (see below picture).

Hood pins on a 1991 Pontiac Firebird

Find the point on the radiator support where the pins will be located.Be sure there isn't anything underneath to drill through.Measure from the fender to the center point of the hole location,and measure from the front fascia(edge where the front edge of the hood meets the body)to the center point of the hole location.Use these measurements to mark the hole on the hood.Repeat for the other side.MEASURE TWICE DRILL ONCE.

Front door open message it won't print

There is a switch inside the front door that is not making contact when the door closes, making the printer think that the front door is open. The switch is recessed in the housing. Look for a plastic knob that protrudes from the front door that will mate with a hole in the frame. Inside this hole is the switch. Try activating the switch manually with a screwdriver to make sure the switch is functioning. If it is, you will need to take off the cover and reposition the switch forward. If it does not activate manually, the switch must be replaced.

How do I get to the front turn signal bulb to replace? From the engine compartment which doesn't sppear to be acessable or do you take off from front, removing the lense cover ???

Underneath the hood on top of the light housing is an 8mm screw and on the back side a wingnut screw, you should be able to pull this out....the hole assembly..all this located under the hood. Good Luck!

I need to know where the fan relay switch is under the hood

If you're talking about the cooling fan relay, it's behind the bumper cover under the passenger side headlight. Instead of taking the entire bumper cover off, you can take the right headlight assembly out, and cut a hole in the plastic cover. You won't see the hole after replacing the headlight, and I know several techs that do this. You might want to remove the battery, and look down to see where the relay is before cutting.

A4 cabriolet hood stuck

I'm not sure about that. I'm assuming that you've checked the fuse. There may be a circuit breaker for the top operation as well, and that may have blown (those are under the hood usually, or under the dash on the driver's side). Have you tried cycling the ignition a few times, or maybe a 30 minute disconnect on the battery? That usually puts the car's computers into relearn mode. I'm just throwing out ideas here since I've never dealt with this before, but they're worth trying.
