Friend your mobile phone is restricted in other sim rather than smart because the phone is set or locked to only one network wich is the SMART.in our term your phone is not openline. Friend to make your phone open line you need to go to SMART provider and ask to openline your phone.or you need to go to moble phone service center around you and they will do the job.i cant help you online coz it needs software and cable wires to do the unlocking.that would take a short time to unlock just about ten minutes so if you go you just wait your phone and donot leave it. thats all friend hope i helped you.good luck

SOURCE: my samsung galaxy ace gt~s5830 keeps losing network signal

I faced the same problem with my Samsung Ace S5830 that it keeps losing the network signal. I formatted the phone and still the same problem. I took the phone to the Samsung store and they opened the phone and cleaned it with some solution and i tried to use the phone for sometime and still the same. I was very frustrated with and unhappy with my phone as it is not even a month and it kept on losing the signal and sometimes would restart and would lose the battery charge. I tried doing this step( Settings>Wireless and Networks>Mobile Networks>Network Mode>Select either GSM or CDMA(Depends on the provider) By default, it would be selected as GSM/WCDMA(Auto Mode)
From Network Operators select the desired network and then restart the phone. Hope this would fix the problem.

I have a Galaxy Ace which I loved until recently. Its started freezing up alot. This morning my alarm didn't go off at 5 because the time on the phone said 2:27. I depend on this phone for my job!

If your Galaxy Ace suffers from this problem do not bother change the firmware, or try setting the WiFi Sleep to "Never" or trying any fix. The problem affects a small number of Samsung Galaxy Ace handsets, and if you have this problem your phone is defective. Have it replaced

By overclocking my galaxy ace not able to work My mobile not able to start . it only showing starting samsung symbol starting screenshot and not able to come in recovery mode

If you rooted this device start from scratch by using ODIN 1.8.3 or 1.8.5 and taking it back down to Gingerbread. Make sure you have your correct .TAR & MD5 files.
You want to use caution when overclocking some Samsung devices. When you start overclocking you want to make SURE you flash a kernel built for overclocking. Just because you can overclock it, doesn't mean it will be safe. Head over to the XDA Forums and search for your device and overclocking settings. Those geeks are certified pros. That's where I get all my tips & info.

**Recovery: Try using the OEM Recovery by turning off the device completely and turning back on by holding the "power button" and the "volume up" button. You should see the device kick into stock recovery.

How do i turn off safe mode on a samsung galaxy ace

Safe mode in Galaxy Ace s5830
To START "Safe Mode" use both hands to Press the Home Key (bottom centre) and then simultaneously Press BOTH the Power (right hand side) key, and the Volume-Up (left-hand side) key. When the Samsung Galaxy logo appears, release the sides' Power and Volume-Up keys but keep the Home key pressed. Safe Mode should come on shortly. SIMPLY DOING THIS SAME KEYING SEQUENCE, WHILE THE PHONE SHOWS "SAFE MODE" IN THE BOTTOM LEFT CORNER OF THE SCREEN, SEEMS TO TURN THAT "SAFE MODE" OFF. Safe Mode prevents Third Party Apps running, apparently.

I locked my galaxy ace GT-S5830T

To fix it, just then again remove the battery out, then put it back again. Don't power it ON yet, just press and hold the Volume Up, Center button and Power button at the same time. A menu will then appear that let choose with an option. Just use the volume button to toggle and select the wipe data/factory reset, that will then reset your Galaxy Ace to it's factory default settings.

This would erase all the data stored on the phone and would revert back to factory defaults

solution: only HARD RESET your galaxy ace.

You may want to know how to perform hard reset for samsung galaxy ace gt-s5830 here the way:

1. Press and hold the power and menu key for few second untill you enter the restore menu

2. After the menu show choose "wipe data/factory reset "

3a. Select yes and your phone will be restore to default
3b. After finish choose reboot now

4. It will restart. Don't panic because it take few minute until complete.

5. Don't panic just wait. If there is no response in 10 minute just release your battery and put it back again and repeat from first step.

Note;
-use menu key to select.
-use volume up down to choose the menu.
-make sure u have enough power in ur batttery.
