Try powering down the screen for 48 hours. This give the screen time to cool down, and will hopefully stop the problem. If that doesn't work, try to use the White Screen Method. Here is a link to do so. http://lifehacker.com/146469/remove-lcd-image-burn+in
Hope this helps!

How do I remove burn images from a Sanyo TV?

I am assuming this is a Plasma TV? If so, Once an image is burned into the screen, there is now way to remove it. There are some ways to remove temp burn-in images like playing a white screen, and a screen wipe program. But,this only helps if you see a burn-in after watching the same image for a few hours. If the image has been played over a long period of time. "Like a store demo, security camera, ESPN like at a bar" There is no repair for this. And the screen will need to be replaced, and the cost of the replacement is sometimes more than buying a new TV. Sorry to have to give you this bad news. If you bought a extended war.? It may cover the burn-in. Some warranties
will cover that. It is worth a try.

The screen on my Toshiba 57H81 has what appears to be burn in on the middle of the screen. The picture is brighter and clearer on the right and left edges to about 4" in on the screen. Is this the...

Its the CRT tubes that need to be replaced. Unlike connventional CRT tvs that have only one tube for the entire size of the screen, CRT rear projection tvs have 3 small tubes that project the image on the screen through a lens and mirror assembly to magninfy it. Replacing the tubes should resolve the problem.

Green noise on all black images on my SAMSUNG LN LCD TV screen

I had a similar problem with my LG plasma. I used the Image Sticking Minimization
(Pixel Orbitor, White Wash, and Inversion) feature which is designed to prevent image burn in and ghosting. This ISM feature may be available on the Samsung or any other brand under a different name. I activated the "white wash" option for about 30 mins, the screen turns white and somehow the pixels get reset. The green noise disappeared after that.

I hope this helps. Phezbuster

Red color trouble

A picture or blank raster viewed from the front will have red marks if a portion of the image path from the green CRT to the front screen is blocked by debris or if the Green CRT is damaged from burn-in or other situations. If green is missing, red dominates virtually any image.

Severe CRT burn-in can occur when there is no sweep signal to a yoke. I have seen technicians removing yoke connectors on RPTVs in attempts to find shorted or suspect components.

Occasionally a damaged TV is sent back to customers as repaired and a service order for a new "fault or complaint" is initiated when the customer complains of the red or green marks or lines.

Burn in

The bad news is generally crt burn in is a permant condition. the only way is to replace crt.. these are not easy or cheap. on average it takes me more than hour to repace one tube and with 3 around 2 . dissambly is tough on this set. the tubes cost about 250 apeice. now times 3 plus labor .. i generally recomend if you have to replace all three its not worth is these setts are 800 at walmart.

Red spot in the middle of the screen

You most likely have a burn in on the surface of one of the picture tubes. What you need to do to confirm this, would be to take off the front screen, and with the set turned on, look directly into each one of the lenses, and see if you see a mark on the green or the blue tube. if this is the case, and I am pretty sure it is, the picture tube will need to be replaced, but this set is not a young thing, as the green faint lines is most likely a bad capacitor in the screen drive circuit. If the picture tube is indeed burned on the surface, most likely be better off buying a new TV set. Good Luck
