If you recently tried to install a software that had a file extension .msi (microsoft installer) or if you tried to install a software that was 32 bit but you needed 64 bit I have searched for and installed a newer microsoft installer before. I'm not sure if this is the solution... just a thought.

About Graphics and Video Card Drivers: Graphics and video Card Drivers serve as an interpreter between your Windows operating system and the Graphics and Video Card. In other words, these Drivers allow Windows to communicate with the Graphics and Video Card installed on your computer.
Most of the Graphics and Video Card Driver errors occur when the required Driver is missing, corrupt, or outdated.
Common Graphics and Video Card Driver problems: In case of a Graphics and Video Card Driver related error, your operating system will not be able to access or make best use of the functionality of your graphics or video card.

Below are the four most common Driver error codes and their meaning:

Error 1 - Reinstall the drivers for this device. (Code 18)
Meaning - The required driver is configured incorrectly or outdated.
Error 2 - This device is not configured correctly. (Code 1)
Meaning - The required driver is configured incorrectly or is missing.
Error 3 - The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
Meaning - The required driver is not installed on your computer.
Error 4 - This device cannot start. (Code 10)
Meaning - Usually, this error means that the required driver is outdated.
How do I fix Graphics and Video Card Driver problems?

Roll back to the previously installed Driver

Device Manager, an inbuilt utility in Windows, allows you to troubleshoot common driver-related errors. For instance, you may sometimes start experiencing driver related problems after you have updated it. To resolve the issue, you can roll back to a previously installed driver. To do this in Windows 7/Vista, perform the following steps:
  1. - Open the Control Panel window and double-click Device Manager
  2. - Double-click Display Adapters to view all devices under it
  3. - Double-click the device that is causing the problem
  4. - Click the Driver tab
  5. - Click the Roll Back Driver button and follow the onscreen instructions

Scan your computer using a Driver Update Tool

While Windows does provide an interface through which users can fix driver-related errors, the fact is that all driver-related issues cannot be resolved efficiently via Device Manager. Another fact is that resolving driver issues manually is a tedious affair. Also, you need to be proficient with Windows to carry out such a task.
On the other hand, driver management tools present no such problems. With just a click of the mouse, a driver management program scans your entire computer, identifies all installed hardware devices, and updates drivers for the identified devices

Once the scan is completed, the tool will list out a number of errors. These errors can be corrected using the box Fix Errors as shown in the below image. This will correct the Windows registry errors and if it was the actual cause behind your error, you would now be able to install the software.

High definition audio controller This device cannot start. (Code 10)

If you run into the error "This device cannot start. Code 10 (often followed by a driver identifier, for example "This device cannot start. Code 10 in audio driver"), here is what it means.

The Windows error "This device cannot start. Code 10 or "This device cannot start. (Code 10)" is a hardware error that most commonly means that you have a bad, missing, or incompatible device driver. So, for example, "This device cannot start. Code 10 in audio driver" means that you have a bad or missing or incompatible driver for your sound card.

The technical explanation for this message, according to Microsoft, is this:

"If the device has a FailReasonString value in its hardware key, that string appears as the error message. The driver or enumerator puts this registry string value there. If there is no FailReasonString in the hardware key, you receive the following error message:

This device cannot start. (Code 10)"

What does that mean in plain English? It means that if the device which is throwing the error has added its own custom error text to your Windows system when the device was installed, then when the device encounters an error, you will see the custom error message specific to that device. But if it doesn't have its own custom error message, then Windows uses its own generic error message for devices, which is "This device cannot start. (Code 10)"

Microsoft recommends that when this happens, you click "Update Driver" to update the drivers for the device. You can also start the Windows troubleshooting wizard by going to the general properties tab of the device, and clicking on "Troubleshoot".

Before doing this, be sure that you have the correct and most up-to-date versions of the driver(s) for that device. You can also try uninstalling and reinstalling the device, using the disk which came with it.

Finally, you can go to the website of the device's manufacturer, and check their downloads or support section for current, up-to-date drivers.
Go to Toshiba support site look for Toshiba Satellite A135 drivers, download the one for your windows 32 or 64 bit install, restart and off you go. Regards, Mike

Do you mean you are running a dual boot system? Meaning that you can boot to Win7 or Win XP? If you boot in XP then you will have to manually have to install sound card driver. Really need more details to be able to help you better.

Camera says graph render fail what does this mean

Ok what that means is the DirectX "Graph" or set of instructions that tells windows graphics, how to perform, what Filters to use, and how to and what to, do with the signal to be displayed. This is generally an error to do with TV cards, Display cards etc. usually again, it means that the correct CODECs aren't installed, and when the "Graph" tries to "load" them, it cannot "Find" them, and thus fails, and displays that error message.

A problem with installing lego creator harry potter.

Try cleaning the disc first. There may be dirt or fingerprints interfering with reading it. The CRC error means the data is not being read correctly. If the error continues and this is a game you recently purchased, I would recommend returning it to the store and exchanging it as it's probably a defective disc. If you are trying to install a copy you downloaded you should try downloading again as there is some error in the data.

Attention Windows Vista Users

If you have installed your printer on your PC using an original Lexmark Driver CD that came with your product and you are experiencing problems when printing, you may have installed the Windows XP driver.

Follow these steps to resolve:
· Disconnect your USB cable from your printer.
· Uninstall all Lexmark printer drivers on your PC.
· Download the correct Vista driver for your model.
· Install the driver on your PC.

Important - Do not reconnect the USB cable until the install software prompts the question of how the printer is connected.

Error codes

This type of error code can occur when installing Windows 2000, if there is some sort of hard drive confliction. If you have multiple hard drives in the computer. Please unplug all other hard drives except the MAIN drive that you are installing on, if the errors still occurs you may want to try installing to a different hard drive as your main drive, or replacing the IDE or SATA cable.

Another option to consider is that format did not complete correctly, you may want to viist the website of the manufacturer of the hard drive you are installing on and retrieve the utility to perform a Low-Level format on the hard drive - this will erase any and all data on the drive.

Destop cd driver

Hi,
is this an external USB CD Drive ?
Windows error code 10 indicates a hardware error or failed driver installation. This error may appear if a device has insufficient power to operate correctly (if it,s plugged into a bus powered hub with other devices), or may indicate a more serious hardware problem. Also, it may be indicative of USB root hub drivers being incorrectly installed.
This could be a faulty or dirty USB Lead problem.
Hope this helps.
