Recover bios

You cannot "recover" the bios. The bios runs the hard and software and is required to set the motherboard up.

If you have reset the CMOS memory you need to go into the BIOS setup screen and reconfigure the BIOS. To do that you need to press a key while the computer is booting. Usually F2 but can be other keys. It should tell you on the bottom of the first screen which key to press to enter BIOS setup.
If you don't know the settings the should be one for optimal defaults - use that one. You will also need to reset the time and date.
Save, Exit and re-boot and everything should then work.
During the boot process you will see on the screen to press delete to enter setup

When the laptop starts up press function key F2. You need to do this before the Windows logo appears.

You should be in the BIOS. Locate the Energy Setting and disable it. Once Windows loads, go to the Control Panel, click PowerOptions, and turn off energy saving when computer is plugged in.

It depends on what bios the machine has, there are recovery procedures, atleast on laptop bioses. That when a set of keys is pressed it reads the bios image from a floppy or from a usb stick / cd and flashes the bios automatically.

Look online for Bios recovery (find out what bios you have, ami, phoenix, etc and then look for _____ bios recovery)

unfortunately not unless, you have a dual bios where the old settings are saved, flashing the bios is very dodgy, unless it is absolutely neccasary. You may be better getting in touch with acer to se if the laptop can be reset.
