Testimonial: "You are right. I can pull it to start but there is no spark. My problem was a broken rope but since I replaced the rope it won't start."

check oil level and oil level cut out to make sure wiring is intact also check out that the ht lead is not shorting out when you replaced the casing after fitting new rope

1st remove the spark plug and put it back in the HT lead. Hold the end of the spark plug to the engine casing and get someone to pull over the machine. If there is no spark then unhook the yellow wire on the front of the engine between the oil sensor (wire disappears into engine here) and the little metal box and try again. If it sparks either you are short on oil, the sensor controller has blown (little metal box) or your internal sensor has blown. If not then 1st try changing the spark plug. Make sure you get the correct one as you cannot use "just any old" sparkplug due to heat ratings etc. If this still doesnt work then a New HT coil is required.

SOURCE: eu2000i lopes while idling. If i slide the choke

This is NOT uncommon when no load is on the units.

The "gain" of the govenor is designed for maintaining speed under load and will "hunt" a bit without a load on the unit.

SOURCE: want to remove the starter recoil from my powermate generator

I got one of these pieces of junk, and had same problem you described.

You will need to remove the end panel to get to the blower housing. You will have to thread the rope through the handle until you have enough slack to remove the rope from the handle. The end panel should now be free to remove entirely.

Find the 3 bolts that hold the blower housing on, and remove them. Once you get it off, make sure that the rope has a knot in it so it won't get retracted into the pulley recoil assembly. Take a screwdriver and push the rope back down into the pulley (that was my problem). Assembly is opposite of taking apart.

SOURCE: Honda EU2000i generator overload alarm

Hi, well the Red Light indicates an "Overload" situation, now if this occurs and there is NO Load connected, then usually this indicates a rather bad fault. Most often within the control & regulator electronics, there is NO "Quick Fix" sorry.... Most likely you have short circuited regulator components? But without examining the unit, this is pure speculation, based on experience.
You need to obtain a service manual, see link below to understand what I mean, in this manual, it will give you troubleshooting steps to perform to isolate and hopefully repair your unit.

Now if you don't wish to DIY, then the best thing to do is to contact a Honda generator repair center, and get the unit inspected by them, as usual ONLY ask for a "Quote" as to the costings, when you have been made aware of these, well then you can make up your mind as to what to do, repair or replace?

I have a deep eu2000i inverter, the problem is to remove the carburetor throttle, it takes some kind of setting as to start the engine low speed, and connect a tool fails ....

if your question is that my Honda generator wont idle up when I connect a load (tool) and it stalls then . first see if unit will run on constant setting (switch on front) if nothing or still barely runs or stalls , then your problem is carb or fuel filter (inside tank) one or both is most likely dirty and needs replaced/cleaned

The internal monitor is sensing a load does a load make it change tone? Check the 12 v output and see if it is loaded.

Screeching sound-Honda eu2000i

Sounds like a bearing has failed or something has gotten inside the generator or engine area where it spins and is now rubbing against it. There is a bearing at the far end of the generator from the motor and it is most likely to be where the noise is coming from. Best to repair it before it seizes and wears out parts you don't want to have to try to find!

I have a honda generator but i change the cordon starter and now i dont now how ensable it, i need a diagrama of this

What you need to do is first remove the new cord that you installed.
(This next process is best performed by 2 people)

Pre-wind the spool gently COUNTER CLOCKWISE until the spring prevents further winding. Have the 2nd person grip the spool so that it does ot unwind. Back off the spool until the re-wind rope hole is aligned with the outer cover rope guide. Insert the new rope through the outer cover rope guide hole and into the spool hole. Pull the new rope through the spool hole and tie a single small knot. Pull the knot into the hole. 2nd person releases the spool and the rope will rewind into the re-coil assy.
