Well i have a maxlibne pluse 2 2.50 gb hard drive after in stall it came up saying i had no drivers ?????//

first check whether the device is working on another computer. if it is then there are driver issues on the computer you got this message from. if not then your casing interface is not working right. you can get the data off the hard drive by removing the casing and plugging the drive to a desktop computer.

click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll down universal serial bus controllers you should see a yellow question mark?

right click to reinstall drivers

if you can see your usb drive but its not working

when i go to print the computor say that there is a cable not conected ok i have checked the cables and they are all ok

do you use windows 98? because win 98 cannot support wd 160.
2) the mother board bios may not support this drive, or the interphase of the ext usb drive is faulty. lastly try to remove the raw drive from the casing and use it directly with the pc . i feel it will start working well

How Old is your computer (depending on age, it may not have USB 2.0) that is what you may need to have a external HD now a days

That is a 10GB hard drive. You don't need any special drivers to use it unless your computer is extremely old.
