Hi Teresa, A bit more information is required to help provide a solution such as what software or scanner are you using. What operating system you are using and any additional details you think would be helpful.

The common places to look is check in your My Documents or My Pictures folders for the scanned images or any special folders that are created by your scanning software.

You could also perform a file search in a folder for files that have been edited or created on the date you scanned to locate the source folder.

Otherwise, open your scanning software and check the Preferences (probably Edit > Preferences) for the default location where items are saved when they are scanned.

If all else fails, scan it again and do a 'Save As' operation to place it on the desktop of another folder that you are familiar with so you may find it in the future.

Scan the photo and save the photo as a JPG file.

Can not scan a picture to my email

If you are using a Windows PC, open the Paint Program:
Start > All Programs > Accessories > Paint

Then Choose 'File' in the top toolbar and click on, 'From Scanner or Camera'.

Then scan your document - name it - and save it in your pictures folder.

Open your email account and click on: Attach - then Browse your Pictures folder and select the document you want to attach to your email.

How do I scan several pages to email

Create a directory called Scans on your C drive

Scan each of your images and save them as a.jpg or whatever to the Scans directory.

Open a new eamil go to the top bar and hit Attach

Navigate to the Scans directory then hold down the shift key and click on the files you want to send

Hit Attach and they will appear in the box on your email

You can add picture in the same way , just make sure that you place the cursor where you want each picture to show on the body of the email

HOW DO YOU SCAN A PICTURE AND SEND VIA EMAIL?

You scan save the picture as a JPEG or the text document,PDF is prefered, to a temporary place, say desktop . then "attach" it to your eamil. You click ATTACH and then browse to the place the file is, and "Attach it" then ya send it.
You can also cut/copy paste INTO the body of ya email. That works too.

If you have installed the software of the printer already then you can use the hp solution center to scan a document or a picture. And make sure that you have save the picture or document. After saving it to your computer you can open your email and put the document or picture as an attachments

Can't figure out how to scan a picture and than send it via email.

Depends on your make of printer/scanner but generally you put the picture to be scanned in the slot open up your scanner software, press preview if ok press save to file.

Then open up your email box ,select 'add attachment', find your picture location on C drive and attach to your email and send. Simple. This should Fixya.

After you scan your pictures, save your pictures to your computer. after that you can open your email add. Click compose message to your email add and then click attached files then browse the pictures and upload it. After that you may send your email add to your own email add and also to another email add.
