SOURCE: The reverb (or any effect) on my Fishman Loudbox

If you have a pedal input, you may be getting FALSE trips of this.

You may have a pedal jack with switch that is marginal.

TRY putting a pedal into the effect pedal input IF your unit has that and SEE if it acts stable.

These jack and jack switch problems are a pain on all these amps... any brand.

SOURCE: I bought a second hand

I don't understand your question. The "Aux in" is just that an input that goes to the power amp. Please note that the Fishman Loudbox does NOT have a headphone jack so don't be disappointed as there plain isn't a headphone jack on this unit. I would recommend that you get a small headphone amplifier for the purpose... or even go to a thrift store and get an old stereo system that has a headphone jack and use that.

SOURCE: What's your problem?I have two Fishman amps. The older Loudbox 100 single channel and a Loudbox mini. I am trying to find the service manual for the older fishman as I have a fault with it and the

Fishman iis you best bet http://www.fishman.com

You can download the user manuals, they do have a block diagram, but the scan is pretty bad.

It may end up the person looking at it is going to need to rely upon their general knowledge.

My own suggestion is to pull the chassis out so you can work on it while powering it. And then work your way through the amp with either a signal source plugged in at the input, and with high impedance headphones with test lead ends, go through each audio stage carefully. until the fault is isolated. If it is not caps or the rectifiers in the power supply, faulty ground connections to chassis or faceplate, a faulty 4558 is most probable. The headphone approach is the fastest way to address this last one. If a different series of preamp chip is used, a good source for the IC datasheets in general is Digikey http://www.digikey.com and parts too.

Fishman Loudbox amplifier rattle sound on bass notes

Either the speakers have loosened from the faceplate, or one or more have blown. Open the amp and tighten them down. If that doesn't fix it, remove them a take them to the nearest speaker repair shop for a checkup. If blown either have them re-coned or replace them.

I'm not as familiar with Fishman products, but you might find your answer on this forum: http://www.acousticguitar.com/ubbcgi/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=030507

Remember to be VERY specific about the problem, what you WANT to work, and what is NOT working as a result of your purchase.

Low volume from Fishman Loudbox Mini mic input, using brand new XLR cable and dynamic mic. Mic works just fine on instrument input using a Hi-Z cable so problem is not mik

I have seen defective XLR cables so check it with an ohmmeter. It is possible the mic input preamp has been damaged. If that is the case, the unit will have to be repaired.

Heavy radio interference when the amp is in use. It's worse at night. I'm using a Taylor 816 acoustic electric guitar with Taylor's balanced quarter inch to XLR cable into my Loud box Performer. Nothing...

Well, the first thing is to find if it is the amp or the guitar. Plug in a guitar cable WITHOUT being in the guitar... is the interference there? If not, the pickup of the interference is in the guitar electronics. In either case, bypass caps need to be instaalled in the offending unit near the input to bypass the interference to ground. You will need to seek someone familiar with electronics to fix this. There is a chance that the only cure will be to distance yourself from the radio transmitter. The transmitter has to be an AM radio type as FM would not generate audio in your system.
