SOURCE: ice tray stuck
Hi My Samsung freezer was nor a RB2155 it is a RS2630SH however after not making any ice because the tray was stuck in the upside down position or thereabout after 6 weeks it suddenly started making ice again, we had not done anything to it but we heard it dropping ice one evening and we had a look in the ice container and low and behold the ice box was full to the top, I would still like to know why it went like that in the first place in case it happens again it is a mystery. SOURCE: Samsung, american style fridge
We had a service tech service our fridge for the same problem. Although the ice that was dispensed was not as fine as crushed ice, mainly chunks. In any case, he said this is a known problem and is typically resolved by ensuring the freezer temp is not set at the maximum setting. Ours is currently now set at 3 bars and is producing cubes. Not sure if reducing the temp was the ultimate fix as he also replaced the ice maker.

My amana sxd25s2w side by side, water dispener just stopped working all at once. I hear a click when pushing the bar, and the light goes on but no water. Also the ice maker is over flowing when it fills the tray. Are these 2 things related and I would like to replace the filter for the water , where can I find that. Please help!

The icemaker relies on the motor to twist the ice tray about 120 degrees or so the dump the ice out of the tray. In order to get the ice to separate from the tray the force of the motor actually torques the tray against the rear plastic support (much like you would twist an old fashioned ice tray that you fill up by hand). Anyway, this puts a lot of force on the plastic elements that support the tray and they break after time. Once the plastic support breaks in the back there is nothing to get the ice out of the tray and each subsequent filling of the ice tray results in water spilling all over the ice bin and eventually leaking out the front of the refrigerator. You can order the part and fix it yourself (the part is DA61-00244A and is available from a number of websites. Total cost about $16 with shipping.

We had the same problem with our Samsung RSH1 fridge freezer. We bought a kit from a company called Appliance DIY Repairs, that were recommended to us by a friend. We fitted the kit. It was an absolute doddle - and considerably cheaper than getting an enginer out to fix it.
