SOURCE: i think it is the same proble as you discribe

Hey chiki76
You still have a lid switch problem. The switch has to be replaced. The switch usually comes apart or the clips securing them are broken

SOURCE: Kenmore washer wont drain or spin

Hi, Remove the end caps on the control panel. There is 2 screws in the front corners that need to be removed and the control panel will lift up. Locate the lid switch connection disconnect it. Use an insolated wire and jump the two brown wires and see if the washer will spin. The green wire is groun (Do not use that wire)
I hope this helps you.

SOURCE: Kenmore washer, 110.22722100, won't spin

It may be the coupler. see my link to sears parts for exploded view. coupler is number 13. The coupler is behind the motor and will need the main cover (case) removed to replace it. Inspection is also easier with the case removed. It's an $18.00 part and a bout $90.00 in labor to hire it done. I can help.!retrieve.pd?modelNumber=110.22722100&pop=flush at this link choose BRAKE/CLUTCH/GEARCASE/MOTOR/PUMP

Kenmore washer front load 417 wont spin

Check door switch: If the lid switch is bad it will not drain or spin. Try this test: With lid open let it finish wash cycle. Press lid switch down with screwdriver. Washer should begin draining. Release switch. Motor should stop. Press switch a second time. Washer should start spinning as it continues to drain. If motor doesn't come on while lid switch is pressed, replace the switch. OR

when you lift the lid there should be a switch if you push it down with a pen or something it should drain If that does not work then it's the control knob but I'm betting it the the lid switch

I have a kenmore 70 series that wont drain. It washes and agitates, but wont drain what could be the problem

It sounds like the lid switch. Open the lid and depress the switch (with a pencil or similar) until it clicks. Then see if it spins. If it does not, replace the switch. If it does spin, check the plastic "pin" on the lid to be sure it hasn't broken off. It has to depress the switch when the lid is closed. The pin should be about 5/8" long.

I want to know the production date of Kenmore 3394715, stackable washer/dryer combo.

The production date is determined by the SERIAL NUMBER on your appliance. The following link explains:

Kenmore washers are manufactured by Whirlpool. If you still have questions, please let me know. I hope this helps you.

Wont drain or spin

Does it click when closing the lid ? Sometimes , the lid switch arm , will work inserting something into it , but not with the lid closed . Try checking it useing the lid itself . Occasionally , the arm wears to where it has to be pushed farther down to work so the actuator on the lid cannot push it far enough down .if you have to replace the lid switch for it to work properly or bypass the lid switch it needs to be from under the console .do not drop screws in between the tubs

  • first thing to check is the lid switch.
  • if the lid switch is bad it will fill up, then agitate then sit there full of water.
