I have just bought a netgear push2 tv 3000, it shows up as connected to the tv but no way can I get a wireless connection from my Del Vostro desktop PC intel core i5 using windows 7 home premium with virgin media wireless broadband, the users guide say launch the itel widi, how do I get widi, it also asks for the key code when registering for up dates but where do I find the product key. Please help

Does your phone/ computer have software for a PC? Look at the phones website for PC software.

Okay so we need to know what operating system you're using with that laptop probably the operating system is the problem it may not be compatible

Unlike notebook computers, most desktops don't come with wireless networking built in. I can't find any mention on Dell's site that the Vostro 200 has wireless capability, so this computer doesn't have a wireless switch. To use your desktop computer on a wireless network, you'll need to install a wireless adapter. USB adapters are very easy to use since you just have to plug them in. They're not expensive and you can easily find them at retail stores and online.

you wont see the pc screen on the tv if that is what your expecting, if the tv is capable of receiving netflix then it will pick that up seperately from the pc, it will only need a wireless connection to access the broadband, you will also need a valid subscription to the netflix service. The fact you have proved you have a valid wireless connection means its connected. There will be an options button to select the internet content to view on viera cast

Have you installed the Netgear wireless card driver already?

If you did, then go to the network connections on Control Panel and right-click the wireless icon then select "View Available Wireless Networks".

On the left hand side of the window, click "Change advance settings". A window will appear and see if you have a wireless tab. If you don't have the wireless tab, do these steps:

Click Start, then Click Run. Type services.msc and click ok.

Scroll down all the way to the bottom and double-click Wireless Zero Configuration and set it to automatic then click the "Start" button to start the service. Close the window.

Again, go to the network connections in control panel and right-click the wireless icon. Click the Change Advance Settings again and now you'll be able to see the wireless tab. Click it and put a bullet-point to "Let windows manage wireless connections" Click apply and Close or OK.

Right-click again the Wireless icon to view available wireless networks. Wait until the window populates and click the name of your network. Click connect and enter the password if prompted.

I would suggest you to change the wireless channel on the Dlink and use the channel on which WG111 will scan and connect to your network. Also, plese make sure to use the security encryption on the DLINK to WEP or WPA only. Using higher security like WPA2 will cause issues with this adapter.

Hello....sudden loss of wireless on two computers, in the same home, may indicate that a powerful source of wireless interference has just arrived (since your wireless router light is still on).

1) Does the signal improve if you move the router, or move the laptop closer to the router?
2) Have you had any success with changing the channel on your router? (Login to router > select Wireless Settings > Channel)

If you have not moved furniture yourself, or installed a device which could interfere with the signal (eg a DECT phone), it's possible a neighbour's new router may be the culprit.

try this plug up a line to laptop to modem to check to see if you can get connected if so then make sure you are on the same network and if so then call comcast to help you setup the laptop wireless settings in sound like the settings online doesn't have the laptop enable to accept the laptop
